One of the first planned communities in Florida, Winter Park was originally designed as a citrus-growing city in the late 1800s. Today, Winter Park is nationally recognized for its efforts toward preserving the town's historic buildings and character, especially along Park Avenue, the historic core of the city. Located just minutes northeast of Orlando, Winter Park offers a small-town atmosphere with access to all of the amenities of urban life.
