In reference to the review about dachshund, when the Actual owner dropped off SHE told me that he had been having some hip issues. SO we were very careful in handling him and in NO way did we cause ANY injury to him. We are always very professional and careful with all of our clients pets. We treat them as if they were family. I called the Vet She took him to. All the vet could tell me was he was experiencing some paralysis in the back legs because of the hip problem that he has had for a while now. We have been grooming him since he was a puppy and is now 12 years old. I have personally spoken with The Owner and she is not blaming us for the injury. She was just upset we didn't notice he wasn't walking. He was carried throughout his whole visit so he wouldn't have to walk. Therefore when The Owner picked him up we took him out of the crate and handed him to the Owner. We didn't have any way of knowing his back was messed up because he wasn't crying or making any uncomfortable sounds. I feel like this review was written out of anger and I understand that pets are a part of the family BUT we take pride in caring for them and making sure that they're safe. -THANK YOU,

My dachshund was taken in to this groomer walking. When I picked him up he could no long walk. I rushed him to the vet and they reported that his back had been injured. I understand accidents happen but when you try to hide an injury from a costumer that is where i draw the line. DO NOT take your dog here. Because of this injury he may be potentially paralyzed and I am faced with having to make a hard decision about his life. Please BEWARE!!

I use to love to take my Schnauzer here,but they have fell way off. Jennifer is very rude. Not the same level of customer service. I will NOT be going back.

I took my Yorkshire Terrier here a couple of times after moving to Gastonia (Bark Ave was the closest groomer). I quickly returned to my original groomer in Dallas (First Class Kennels) after 2 visits! The first negative is that they are not open on Saturday, which is highly inconvenient for people who work during the week. Second, they kept my poor baby for half the day and his bladder would be about to burst when I picked him up. Lastly, after doing some research I realized they use cage blow dyers which can easily cause overheating and even death for small dogs!!! Everyone was friendly but I DO NOT recommend this place for your dog unless they have changed some practices!

Each time i take my cocker to these people he ends up with SEVERE razor burn! No matter how many time I explain to these ladies dont cut him to close on his stomache .... THEY STILL CAUSE RAZOR BURN! The last time my dog went they cut his pads on his feet and burned his stomache and genitails. Please avoid the vet bill and dont go here! The prices arent cheap either! They hurt my dog and then CHARGE ME WAY MUCH $$$!!!!!
