I ordered an over the range microwave/convection oven from Lowe's in Mishawaka in November. I asked them if I could have it installed before Christmas and they said it shouldn't be a problem. They use A1 to do their installations and said they would be in contact with me to set up a time. A couple weeks go by and I hadn't heard from them. They were calling the wrong number, which I had changed with them on three different occasions yet they still kept calling my daughter who lives in a different town and had nothing to do with my account. So I finally get a time set up for them to come and do the installation. Which from the beginning I told them my availability and had to work around that. They said no problem. We set a date and time, which was another week or so away. The day before they were to come out I hadn't heard anything so I decided to call to confirm our appointment. They tell me that they have another job on the same day and that they would have to move my time back further, which for me wouldn't work because of my job as I had told them. So we reschedule and again the same thing happens. The girl at A1 says the installer will call me within 15 minutes or so to give me an exact time so I know if I will have time before I have to leave for them to install. After 45 minutes I call her back. She seemed surprised that no one had called me and she calls them herself and calls me back, instead of them calling. She again tells me they are running way behind and will be at my house later. Which ... yet again.. would not work. So again we reschedule....same scenario. She tells me they will be at my house at a specific time, then they are running behind. They tell me it will be 45 minutes more at the current job, 30 minutes for them to get to my home and at least another 30 minutes or longer to install my microwave. You'd think after all of that trouble they would've made me a priority and tried to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. But as I found out from the times before. When they couldn't meet their obligation to me they rescheduled me for a couple weeks out. I finally had enough and called them and Lowe's and got all of my money refunded and told them to keep the microwave. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone. I could've taken a class on installation and put it in myself by the time they would've gotten to me. It was the most unpleasant and unprofessional experience I have ever had. I am honestly shocked that they are even in business. I ordered the microwave in November and by mid January they still could not get the job done. A microwave. Wow.

I purchased a new sink and faucet set from Lowe's and had A1 Plumbing install it. When they took out my old sink they ripped up my countertop. They did an awful job trying to fix it. It's been 9 months of trying to get them to fix it right and they refuse. Now they are offering just $200. The funny thing is my sink now leaks. The last phone conversation I had with them, I was rudely hung up on. This company will not stand behind the work they do.
