I will start with the bad and continue with the good. So they were late to our appointment set between 2pm and 4pm, though I will credit them for calling ahead and letting me know.

The service was satisfactory. They showed me pictures before and after which I found very informative, who knew I had all that gunk in my vents?! Service men were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Over all it was a fine job, will be using them again.

Got the $54 coupon ALL vents and returns DUCT with organic deodorizer, including free Dyer VENT cleaning.

They were schedule to come between 10 and 12, got a call at 11h30 that they would arrive in 30 min.

They were here for 10 min max, two story house, dusted the vent COVER and didn't even remove them and placed the vacuum on the vent. For the dryer, the hose wasn't even pulled enough downstairs to reach it, they didn't clean the filter and definitely didn't touch the Dryer Vent.

When asked about the deodorizer, they said they did it but didn't have to show for it... so what was that supposed to be....who knows.

They also said if you are using the coupon you have to pay cash, and left in a hurry before I could get feedback from calling their supervisor. The main technician's name was Guy, he couldn't wait a minute to get this resolved and drove away.

DO NOT BOTHER WITH THOSE GUYS IT IS HOAX..

I agree with the Sindi and Monique, the first time they scheduled us for a sunday and we get a call on Saturday telling us that they were not going to be servicing our area on that day. I would think this is known when you call for the appointment. I bought a coupon on living social and its just a way for them to get you hooked and then upsell you. My technician was not even 5 minutes in my house , never asked me for location of the vents etc or if furniture should be moved. But went directly to the utility room and said the main lines need to be cleaned if not the entire cleaning was useless. Gave me a price of $199 per main and for free would throw in the sanitizer, I asked if this was the best price and he said yes. He then makes a call and then asks me if I want to do both mains or just one. I was a little surprised that he would ask me since he said if I did not both it was totally useless. But of course he reminded me that sanitizer will not be included if I did not do both. At this point I should have said no to the mains cleaning. I also said I wanted to see what he was doing. But he moved quickly while another tech cleaned did the vents. Next thing I know he was done with mains I had to follow the other tech and show him the vents he missed few and even after they were finished , I found that a couple of them were not done. Tried to sell me to clean the dryer vent from outside, good thing I did not do it despite all his warnings about a fire etc. They use a big vacuum that is not truck mounted , do not think they are NADCA certified. Normally I do my research but this time went by everything on their website. From most reviews it is expected to take upwards of 2.5 hours they finished my house in 1.5. They also expect you to have air filters on hand for them to change. I have called around since then and most places are half the price I paid ( 199*2+taxes +39). And the other places will use a camera to show you the before and after and also have truck mounted cleaning equipment. I would not recommend even if this was free

Wish there were zero stars. Total rip off. Bought a coupon for them, they were a no show the first day they were scheduled, then rescheduled me for the following month, a no show again. Very disrespectful on the phone as well. Two days of work lost for these Bozos. Run away!

Stay away! I think this is a rip off. I had a coupon for duct cleaning ($64) and when the guy arrived, he told me that I needed the service that cost $400 because my air ducts were very dirty. I asked why they didn't tell me on the phone that the price could be more depending on your air duct. I refused to pay for the more expensive service and was told that the vents were not going to be cleaned like they should without the $400 service. He made a phone call and came back with a different price of $249...REALLY! I usually read the reviews and I'm so sorry I did not do my homework this time. I plan to call and complain as well as report them to the BBB. Please do not use Eco Air. Oh and I had a bathroom fan cleaning that was included on my coupon and it was obviously never touched.

Obviously the service guy didnt want to perform work in an apartment building. TOLD me he was arriving 3 hours early since he didn't "have time" to do the appt when scheduled. Told me he wouldn't sign my building's liability waiver (his office was advised of the waiver in advance) . Told me he "didn't have time" to go to the management office to show them his insurance and wouldn't call his own office when asked, And then he lied to his office and said I wouldn't let him do the work. A very unpleasant, unproductive experience. Apartment owners beware !

Had an appointment today for cleaning between 4-6 pm - no show, no call. No answer on their 800# as well. I had purchased the Living Social voucher but have filed a claim to have it refunded. I'd give "0" stars but that's not an option!

To be completely honest, i was very pleased with the service. The tech that came out was very professional (Guy). He was on time & there was no pressure for additional services. They also gave me a reminder call a day before the service which i though was really great. Now my vents are nice and cleaned & now i breathe fresh air in my home. Please don't hesitate if thinking of using this company

This is the worst company I ha...

This is the worst company I have encountered in my entire life. They have hundreds of sister companies throughout the USA that work under their name, but do not have anything to do with the main company in Maryland, other than using all their media, web site and advertising. This is clearly a scam, as I was directed to a Dallas office that was only a clearing house that subcontracted their work to anyone that would do it. When I called to make my appointment, Sindi answered "Ductwork Cleaning" When I asked her if this was Eco Air, she said yes. The technician (Ron Musicants) that performed duct cleaning at my home arrived under an assumed name (Quality Air Specialists) to do work as described in a coupon I purchased from Living Social for $40. He arrived by himself with old portable subpar equipment. I was promised by Sindi that the equipment would be heavy duty truck mounted, and that it would be a two man team for safety, and efficiency. After he inspected only one return vent he quickly told me he could not do the work and raised the price to over $350, not including the $40 I had paid previously. He advised that I had a mold problem without testing or visual confirmation. The bottom line is that I paid this money, only to find he did not do the work as described on his invoice or the Living Social coupon, plus he damaged the dryer vent hose and totally plugged up the dryer vent in the wall and into the roof discharge. Now I cannot run my dryer because it overheats and is now a real fire hazard. I have not received any help or response from Eco Air or Nelly Naftaly (Senior Manager). I was promised (2) times by Ms. Naftaly that the job would be redone and the broken items would be replaced. Even the Eco Air corporate office in Maryland will not respond to several emails, phone call messages and comments requesting help on their website help/comment section. I only received a short message from them, thanking me! Both scheduled appointments made by Naftaly were canceled, without anyone notifying me. It is a terrible scam, that seems almost impossible to resolve during the last 2 months to date. Take a close look at this company and be careful. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!

I found their coupon in a mailer for $189 for duct cleaning to my heater vents. I really didn't expect much for the low price but needed it done. I was pleasantly surprised from the service, it was professional and quick. I already recommended them to my neighbors.
