Hilltop Animal Hospital is by far the best vets office that I have ever been to! All of the staff is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. Dr. Gibbs has done a great job taking care of my dog and I trust him completely. I would not take my dog anywhere else. Thank you to all of the staff at Hilltop for going above and beyond each time!

Hilltop Animal Hospital is a great place. I take both of my dogs here for any care they need, and I will not take them anywhere else. The staff at HAH are more caring and professional to my dogs and me than any other veterinarian I have ever been to. Their prices are comparable to other veterinary hospitals in the area, but the level of service and kindness you will experience here sets them far above their peers. A great bunch of people, and I highly recommend them!

I have taken my 2 dogs and 2 cats to Hilltop Vet for the last 2 1/2 years that Dr. Gibbs has owned the practice. I came to him with a very sick dog (massive skin infection brought about by allergies). He worked diligently to cure the infection and then to confirm it was not food related. We worked closely to determine a reasonable course of action to keep whatever trigger (basically the environment) from bringing back the infection (Atopica was key). Dr. Gibbs and the rest of his team have been incredible in understanding the needs of my pets' health and the limit of my budget. While I live in Apex and could go to a number of vets in the local area, I have continued to go to Hilltop and Dr. Gibbs because of their fantastic care.

We recently had our puppy spayed by Dr. Gibbs with a new minimally invasive technique. He did the procedure through two small incisions the size of my finger (5mm). Our dog went home the same day and did not need any of her pain medication. I think he is one of only a few practices in the area to offer this service.

My husband and I are so happy to have found a Vet that cares about the well being of our dog. The staff at Hilltop are over the top as is Dr. Brown. After going to another vet and spending lots of money our puppy still had urinary and other issues, after one visit the urinary issues are improving and our sweet baby seems so happy and comfortable. The other clinic(Swift Creek Animal Hospital) had us keep coming back and not resolving the issues. It seemed that had us keep coming back to fatten their wallets and the care of our puppy seemed second. We can't say enough good things about Hilltop. LOVE LOVE THEM.

The hospital is under new ownership and we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused some of our clientele. Dr. Scotty Gibbs is the new owner of Hilltop Animal Hospital. He has been a member of the trigangle veterinary community for over 11 years and brings to Hilltop AH more than 13 years of veterinary experience. A native North Carolinian, he obtained his bachelor and doctorate degrees from NCSU. He is actively involved in the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association and serves on their Board of Directors and Executive Committe. He currently presides as the NCVMA President Elect . Dr. Gibbs is devoted to compassionate and quality veterinary care. With the addtion of Dr. Gibbs to the Hilltop AH team , we are able to offer our patients and clients a wide variety of medical, surgical and diagnostic services previously not available at Hilltop. We are excited about the new opportunities ahead of us and we encourage you to visit our hospital and meet our new doctor.

Was extremely pleased with Dr. Mc Bride and staff. In my opinion, she is the best vet in Wake County. She was a welcome change to Hilltop Animal Hospital. So disappointed to learn she sold the business this past week after only 18 months of ownership. Was surprised that her clients had to hear this from the new ownership. Hope that she will someday practice again in Wake County!

My best friend in the whole wide world became very sick. Rushing her to see Dr McBride and staff saved her life, plain and simple.We went in thinking that Daisy had total Liver Failure and came to the reality that we may loose my "Big Girl". The overly professional staff suggested an Ultra Sound to be sure. Well, the Ultra Sound suggested that Daisy had an infected Gall Bladder and not Liver Failure. After a few days of treatment, my "Big Girl" is back to normal and stalking the rabbitts again.GREAT WORK FROM THIS TEAM; They save my best friend's life.On a range of 1 to 10, I rate this pratice at about 300....!!!Highly recommended.
