"Bob" Jensen founded the company to serve a wholesale customer base consisting of commercial businesses and farming operations. In 1979, Chevron converted its most successful agents to independent petroleum jobbers. This changed the company significantly, moving it from a company handling attendant products, to an exclusive Chevron fuel and oil products distributor.
