I retained Debra Slaybaugh as my attorney for a highly contested custody and child support matter. She provided me with excellent representation, took the time to listen to all of my concerns, and got my children out of a horrible situation. She prepared me for my mediation appointment and was there to represent me at the court hearings. Her prices were extremely reasonable compared to many other attorneys I talked to, and her help was worth every penny! I would recommend her services to anyone dealing with a family law matter.

I wish I didn't have to give a star at all - she doesn't deserve it. Don't waste your money. I asked for an hour consultation with Debra Slaybaugh and paid my $100.00 fee up front. I made it clear that I had a lot of questions to get through so I tried hard to get straight to the points in order to get all my questions asked. It seems the minute this woman found out I wanted to handle my divorce amicably, she began rambling on, giving me an example of a prior case. From that point on, I couldn't get a word in edge wise. I was only able to ask her a couple of questions to which she made some vague and/or flippant remarks and dismissed me with 10 minutes still left on the clock. When I left I had no more knowledge about how to handle my divorce than I did when I walked in. The only information she was happy to share with me were her fees. I left frustrated and angry and with the feeling that I had been had.
