I've been going to Sharon for many years now, her daughter usually takes Care of Max, & he loves her as do I, dearly not queerly! They all do a Great Job There & prices are very fair. I tell all my friends about them & remind them to tip the stylist as you would your own stylist cuz I myself am a 3rd generation stylist but my dog is better with others touching him then me cuz he is spoiled rotten just like my son but I still love them to death. So he gets out of the house for a while, it gives me time to clean up, otherwise he's right at my feet all the time, I don't think I've gone to the bathroom by myself since Charlie Passed Away. I've thought about getting another Shihtzu, but then I wonder if I want the extra work and $$$? Not sure yet. Maybe a rescue!

My dog tells it all by the way he acts on the way to Dog Day Afternoon literally screaming with excitement all the way to the door, then body slamming the door trying to get in. I see by the reviews that other dogs feel pretty much the same way. We've had Dog Day Afternoon grooming our dog for about twelve years. Excellent service and we are always happy with their work.

My pups and I love Dog Day Afternoon in Fox Lake, IL. They are professional but very friendly, and my dogs look amazing when they are done. They are also relaxed and happy there, so it is obvious that they are given lots of love by the team.

Highly recommend this groom shop.My dog can be a very difficult and the girls here are so patient and loving with him. When we arrive he can't wait to get in the door. I have been to other groom shops and Dog Day Afternoon, by far, has given him the best haircuts he has ever had. He always looks and smells wonderful !!! Great salon and great staff!!

Very caring and loving salon for your dog. My dog Ace practically jumps out of the car wanting to go inside. Excellent grooming and you can be rest assured you dog will be treated well and all for a very reasonable price.

The best business in Fox Lake! I have been taking my yorkshire terrier there for about 6 years now and I consider it the best money spent. I have one of those difficult dogs that is tuff to manage and Heather and her groomers are great with him. He has pooped, nipped at them when his nails were getting done and then barks pretty much nonstop from the time i drop him off to the time i pick him up.I know she has 2 or 3 dogs of her own and they are big dog lovers. It's an open floor plan so you can see the care they give them. Once he's done and I get back home all my neighbors compliment how great he looks.

i have tried local places in town in the last few months i was not happy at all I will continue going to dog day

I have been bringing my dogs to Dog Day for years.The ladies that run the shop are amazing.My dogs love going there it is like there second home.Some of my friends tried other local places and were not happy at all. Then they tried Dog Day and they keep telling me how happy they are with them

I heard about Dog Day Afternoon

from a friend and although it is

a long ride from Chicago, I

drive my Mother and her two dogs

(bichons) to Fox Lake for their grooming. She likes the way they

groom her dogs and treat them. We

have a hard time getting the dogs

to leave because of the atmosphere

and the way they are handled by the

two wonderful girls that own Dog Day Afternoon. As long as my Mother has her dogs we will make the drive because it is well worth it.

I have been bringing my dogs to Dog Day for the past 4 years. The girls who run the shop are not only amazing,but they truely love your pets. I love the home type feel their shop has. The dogs have their own couch to lounge on and it is open(nothing to hide). They never take your pet into a hidden room they have everything out in the open for all to see. They are reasonably priced and do amazing work.They cater to all kinds of pets even my Mr.Scooby who can be difficult at times. I would not only recommend them I would challange anyone to take their dogs there and see what a GREAT groom shop looks like.

brought my dog there for grooming and he got cut by the groomer there. she didn't even bother letting me know. going to try Dog Tag which is down the street.
