I am a full-time clinical assistant professor and associate program director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at St. Luke’s University Health Network and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. I have a special interest in interstitial lung disease, and I am currently leading several research projects with the help of students and residents to examine the effects of the disease on patients and their caregivers. I am also very active in the community raising awareness and providing support for those living with pulmonary fibrosis. Other clinical interests include quality improvement and electronic medical record optimization for the physician. I earned my medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University. I completed both my internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. While at the University of Maryland, I received an award for excellence in resident research. Since arriving at St. Luke’s, I have been honored by the residents with the outstanding teaching award. I have demonstrated dedication to teaching medical students, residents and fellows. I have presented and served as a moderator at national academic conferences including the American Thoracic Society. I enjoy living in the Lehigh Valley with my wife and daughter. In my spare time, I love coaching my daughter’s sports teams, running, playing soccer and cheering for Penn State.
