My husband just returned from Sammie's. Whem he arrived, it took 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge he was there,(seems no one could tear themselves away from watching the Ranger's game). Them when the man did decide to take his order, he was extremely RUDE. (I guess a paying customer was too much of an imposition to be polite, let alone civil.) My husband arrived home after paying an outrageous tab for a two-meat dinner and a chopped beef sandwich (which was placed in the bag...UNWRAPPED!!!) There was more pickles with the "dinner" than there was meat! The meat that was included was less than stellar. Since they have been doing bbq since 1946, it seems that they would have perfected SOMETHING! If you want to be treated to rude service, over priced bbq that is mediocore at best, Sammie's is the place to go. Try to make it when there isnt a game on TV. This is one family that wont make this mistake again. Definately, two thumbs wayyy down.
