Well this vet just saved me 3,000 in unnecessary surgeries that. Another vet was recommending for my dog.

Managed to save my sister half her vet bill by saving two of her cats absessed teeth through s thorough cleaning.

And when I found them in 2007 diagnose my dog that 7 other bets missed.

I'll stay here.

"Dr." Verwers didn't do a full exam and then misdiagnosed my animal and suggested that I give her enough fluids that would have put her in cardiac arrest. After 3 calls he finally called me back and rudely and unprofessionally stated that he should charge me $90 for reading her previous records and that he could go ahead and charge me $300/hr because that is what his time is worth. He should take his $300/hr and get educated on bedside manner. Since I first made this post I took "Dr." Verwers to court of which not surprisingly, was a no-show. The judge basically said that there was no case since animals are considered property in the state of Texas. Also, because "Dr." Verwers wasn't there to defend himself there was no case. So enough is enough. I firmly believe in if I post my review on YP.com and tell 2 friends and they tell 2 friends and so on and so on maybe he will feel it in his back pocket and get a clue when he starts losing business.

We have been taking our dog, my daughter's two dogs, and my granddaughter's cats to Dr. Verwers for over two years. I have never experienced the complaints of over selling or poor customer service that one reviewer has expressed. They were also very sympathetic and helpful when one of my daughter's dogs had to be put down (with four weeping females present).

I do not reccomend this vet for anyone who cares about their dog. This man is solely out to make money and that's it, he does not care about the well being of your pets. He will constantly try to pressure you into purchasing the most expensive dog food and heartworm medication, he does this almost to demandingly. Also is not a pet friendly person, he wanted to muzzle/tranquilize my lab to provide its shots, which I have never seen a vet have to require the use of a muzzle/tranquilizer if the dog shows no signs of being harmful. Once I informed him that i would take my services elsewhere he became enraged and was the verge of yelling towards me, trying to tell me what I should do with my pet. I highly reccomend that you don't use Ridglea west animal clinic on 183 as the vetinarian has terrible customer service skills and has no care for your animals and just wants your money. he comes off as a know it all old man that tries to push his personal OPINIONS on you. The rest of the staff is nice and they do their job but the actually vet of the place is awful.

This is my hospital and I do a good job to communicate with the clients and keep the patients healthy
