I'm writing this review because I saw some negative reviews for Hampton Hyundau.

This year I took my Genesus to Hampton. I was a new resident in the area and had apprehension about the visit due to reviews I had read.

Upon arrival, I met a service advisor Rachel, who was the most friendly, accommodating representative I have met in my dealings with auto dealerships. She went out of her way to insure my problem was resolved, arranged for a car rental and followed up to be certain the problem was taken care of.

I really appreciated the attention I was given. I'm now happy that I live in the gulf coast area so that I can have a service department I can depend on.

Fast forward to today when I needed my Elantra serviced for it's 30,000 mile check-up. I called yesterday to make an appointment and they gave me a price quote. When I went in to drop my car off I told the service rep that I only wanted the required maintenance and he proceeded to tell me that Florida is considered a severe weather (which it DOES NOT state anything in the manual about high temperature conditions) and I needed to get the premium maintenance. I fought him about it and made it clear that I did not want or need a transmission flush at 30K miles ESPECIALLY with manual transmission! They told me that it would knock off $150 off of the maintenance, however, when I picked my car up the price was only $50 cheaper because they charged me almost $100 for an OIL CHANGE! I have also been having problems with my CD player that I have had broughten in to be looked at at 2 different dealers 4 different times.
