This hovel is run by tight-fisted penny pinchers. They are used to bottom-of-the-barrel clientele, so expect to be treated like that's what you are. Your neighbors will consist of people seriously down on their luck, dope pushers, and prostitutes, among others. If you stay here, good luck. You will need it.

I don't usually make comments about smaller motels, but this is an exception. The motel itself was below average but not terrible, but the staff was a different story. From the moment we arrived, my wife, my young daughter and myself felt very uncomfortable, as though the front desk person resented us being there. When we reached our small room, we first saw that there were no towels anywhere to be found, so I called the office, but nobody answered the phone, I even tried calling the motel on my cell phone, but still got no answer. Finally, I walked back to the office and after calling out several times a man came out, who may have been the manager. I told him that we had no towels in the room. His respomse was that this was not possible and that every room had towels. I assured him that we looked everywhere and there were no towels. What he said next floored me. He told me that several times in the past, people had used the same scam to steal towels out of their room amd that when we checked out, my credit card would be charged if any towels or anything else was missing from our room and the police would be notified. I was speechless and immediately got my family and left. My card was charged for the cost of the room and an additional $12.00, obviously for the towels. Perhaps this was an isolated incident, perhaps not. You decide.
