Does not "listen to owners"

I took my 13 year old very sick cat to thisclinic. It was my son's cat and my son passed away in 2012. I told them all from the beginning that I did not have hundreds or thousands of dollars. I am all alone and on a very fixed income. The ver, "Dr. John" seemed to be kind and caring. However, he did not tell me that Hamlet's care would run into hundreds of dollars with no real prognois...stomach problems. Well, bottom line, I had to let my beloved pet go after paying a lot of money. I have 3 other senior cats to care for.I think the Doctor should listen to the pet owner and be honest about recovery options for a aged and sick animal.

Love Dr CHeryl

I took both of my dogs here. My Mastiff was very old and very sick and Dr Cheryl and her staff treated Simon as if he where one of their children. He died in my arms with Dr CHeryl right there. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST VETS IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA!

Great vet, reasonable prices

I took my dog to summerlin animal hospital after having a very bad experience at a different hospital. I could not have been happier. I saw Dr Cheryl and she listened to what I had to say, checked every inch of my dog, then explained the problem so that I could understand. I thought the prices were reasonable and they even called a week later to make sure my dog was getting better. I highly recommend this animal hospital!

female vet very rude prices are ridiculous

this place was recommended to me by a friend as it is close to where i live and i needed a new vet for my geriatric dog. the front desk staff was pleasant enough but i found the vet that saw us (female) to be very passive aggressive in the way that she spoke to me as well as her assistant and i really didn't care for the way she handled my dog. perhaps she was having a bad day or something but as they say, first impressions are very powerful. i almost fell on the floor in shock when i was presented with an astronomical bill to boot when she did hardly anything for my dog.i will not be returning. beware.
