We have been here for 16 years in a row until 2008! My husband had an Abdominal Aortic Anurysm at a business trip to Reno, NV on 6-1-08. We were not able to come to Ft. Myers Beach last year or this year, so far. This isn't the "classiest hotel," but it is warm and friendly and at an ideal spot for our handicap situation. We have always been treated with the utmost respect and we have been welcomed back over and over again. The rooms are small, I agree, and not decorated fancy, but we've always had a clean room. They have always met our every need and with prompt and courteous service. They had damage to the lower level due to the hurricane, and I'm sure the transition from being a Ramada to the private Pierview status has slowed any up-grading. The loss of their sister, Days Inn, and the sale and demolition of other surrounding buildings and Jimmy B's having to be torn down (we hear it is back though, but now across the street)........ wow! Whatever they do and when they do it, we only hope they'll "stay put" just where they are! We also hope they will remember our loyalty and always have a "room for us!" This wonderful hotel and their great staff, deserve much more than their ratings show! We call it our "home away from home!" Tell them the Kiefers sent you, and you won't be dissappointed!
