My husband recently came home with an assortment of treats from here as a gift.

The chocolate covered strawberries are average. The white chocolate raspberry bon bon is pretty good as is the creme brûlée truffle. The chocolate mint truffle is down right disgusting. The filling is bizarre, it tastes like spearamint gum, which is terrible paired with chocolate. The other flavors are all sort of ok but not great. I usually use Godiva as a comparison point for chocolatiers since it's pretty universal. In this instance I told my husband I'd rather have Godiva next time.

This is definitely the best chocolate in the Charlotte area! They have a really great variety of truffles like salted caramel, spicey cayenne, balsamic and even one with strawberries and black pepper. It's a really cool store and very worth a visit.

I have traveled extensively and tried chocolates in many parts of the world and the truffles at the Chocolat Boutique in Fort Mill are probably the best I have ever eaten (especially the dark ganache). They are really fresh and soooo satisfying, I don't think there is anywhere else in the Charlotte area that compares.
