I originally took my car to Tires plus as it had a bad oil leak. Tires Plus did an oil leak test with dye to determine where the leak was coming from and charged me $42 for the test. I came back 3 days later and they said that my valve cover gasket was leaking and very possibly the oil pan gasket which was an expensive repair. Tires Plus quoted me $175 to repair the valve cover gasket and around $400 to repair the oil pan gasket. Also they told me at Tires Plus that if they break any brittle parts when repairing that I would be responsible for that repair also.

A friend then recommended me to Singh's Auto in Ft. Lauderdale area, a place I never heard of. I brought the car to them and they put it up on the lift and checked it at no charge. Immediately after looking under the car the owner Singh said it was an oil pressure sensor that was leaking pretty badly and he pointed it out to me. He said the oil pan gasket was fine and that the Valve cover only had a very minor leak and the major problem was this oil pressure sensor. I had Singhs do the repair and he charged me $125 which was a very fair price. I am very happy with the entire experience at Singhs as to repair a bad oil leak only cost me $125 instead of the $500 repair I was looking at elsewhere.
