Incredible, terrible and rude like the other reviews mention. Amanda is impossible, she says the owner doesn't call people back and she has an awful attitude. Amanda wasted my time and failed at customer service. I've never had such a bad experience with a service provider and the owner should know what's going on with his terrible staff.

OMG! I was screamed at: "It's going to be $11.53! Take it or leave it!" When I pointed out that my garment was dirty for the second time. The employee's customer service manners are scary and tinged my day with a bitter feeling. My plan was to contact the manager and let him know what kind of problems is his business experiencing, but after reading more reviews, I read that the manager is equally rude and lacks manners. I will definitely not be going back there with so many other friendly places around.

I first came to Scotty's because I had a dress that needed to be altered. The seamstress re-made the dress to fit me perfectly. With this first great experience, I brought in my weekly dry cleaning for myself and my husband. They do a great job; and we are always pleased. The reason I am taking the time to write a review is our latest way we are so impressed with Scotty's! My husband needed new soles and heels put on his favorite business shoes. They were super beat up, scuffed, all around terrible looking. When we got them back we could hardly believe they were the same pair! They had been polished and really sparkled almost like new! The cost was less than we had expected and the polish was included in the price. So, if you are pressed for time, Scotty's is a place that can handle many of your needs easily and affordably. So happy to be their customer!

Terrific place....their Cobble...

Terrific place....their Cobbler is a joy! I brought in a belt to have an extra hole put in, and they did it right then, for free. So I took in my wife's dry cleaning and some shoes to repair....everything done quickly and looked great.

Feb; 2011: I dropped off a cushion cover for zipper repair. Ticket said repair would take 10 days and would be ready for pick up 2/14/11. I spoke with seamstress on 2/9/11 to see if the item may have been ready early - it was not. I called on 2/17/11 (3 days AFTER the pick up date). The item was not ready; when I questioned this and asked why, the employee "RAND" told me I could "come and pick it up"..I was confused and asked if he was saying that because he made a mistake and the item was ready or because they weren't going to fix it at all? RAND said: :THAT'S RIGHT!" and HUNG UP ON ME?!? Of course, he would not pick up the phone when I called back after that. I picked up my un-repaired item from the store a few days later and from that point on, left messages for the manager "Phillip" but RAND would not give messages him (Phillip told me he'd received no messages in the 2 week period I'd left them with RAND). I tried calling a week later and RAND hung up on me AGAIN, MULTIPLE TIMES, when I wanted to leave a message for Philip and again, wouldn't answer the phone (turned it to fax a few times too)...then the seamstress answers, she tells me to call Monday at 7am when Philip will be back in the office. I tell her that's not good for me and I'd simply like to have Philip return my call; SHE hangs up on me?! After that, nobody would answer the phone. I called back a little later and when RAND sees my # on call display he proceeds to hang up on me every time he picks up (no wonder repairs aren't being completed). Finally, RAND picks up and threatens to call the police on me for harassment?!?! I told him I would continue to call until he took the message for Philip and his behaviour was unacceptable. Philip called me back within 30 min. and couldn't have cared a less about this incident. I asked for the name of the business owner and Philip WOULD NOT give me anything more that the owners first name ("Kevin") and told me I could look up the rest on sunbiz (dot org). Philip told me the owner wouldn't answer calls; I said I'd write a letter; Philip said, the mailing address is the Scotty's location and the owner RARELY picks up his mail. I said, "So, I guess you're telling me nobody cares about the way customers are treated?" and he said..."uh...no but..that's a lot of energy you're wasting" (I let him know I had ample energy to spend and not to worry so much about me all of a sudden). I asked why he was so shady about giving the owners info specially if it's public info avail. on line.!?!? he didn't have an answer. Of course, sunbiz (dot org) is a nightmare to find any info. on and it truly seems like Scotty's doesn't give a rats-rear-end about customers OR service. From the online reviews, CLEARLY, I'm not the only one who's suffered abuse from these INCOMPETENT JERKS.



It is awful to think people are paying for this treatment and decent people, who WANT AND NEED JOBS, can't get any while JERKS like this are being paid to ABUSE PAYING CUSTOMERS and LAUGH IN THEIR FACE.



This is SHAMEFUL and if my time will save ONE other person from having this blood-pressure raising experience, it is worth it.

HORRIBLE

The manager at Scotty's should be fired and never allowed to work anywhere. They lost my clothing and never even apologized. When I left a message for the manager about it I never got a call back. When I called him again to follow up he said he does not have time to call people back. Why am I following up on there mistake and they don't even apologize. When they finally found the jacket they still charged me for the dry cleaning. DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Awful place! Save your stuff and your money, so somewhere else!!!

I recently took my clothes into be cleaned and was shocked and appalled with what I got in return. My clothes ruined!! Stains that wernt there before were all over my stuff. Things came back dirtier then when they went in. They have no idea what they are doing here and are obviously using dirty cleaning solution on thier clothes!!! Its disgusing!! They charge a fortune and then I asked for my costs to be reembursed, they laughed. Even the owner didnt care and claimed no responsibility! They wouldnt even pay to reclean it or have it recleaned elsewhere. If you care about your stuff take it somewhere else...or you'll end up having to replace it.
