Angus Energy began providing hedging services in 1991. Since then, we have grown steadily, and now count over 500 oil jobbers as clients. Hedges are indexed to either exchange-traded or "cash market" instruments, and are set at YOUR volumetric needs.By customizing our offerings, we allow heating oil dealers to offer both fixed and capped price offerings, gasoline dealers to put a floor on their "street margins", trucking companies to fix their cost of diesel fuel, and municipalities to cap their cost of natural gas. We also enable weather sensitive suppliers ( i.e. heating oil distributors ) to have a guaranteed minimum number of HDD's, whether Mother Nature complies, or not.Our clients, in over 20 states, represent local heating oil distributors, owners of chains of gas stations, national trucking companies, real estate management companies and municipalities. We offer price protection on heating oil, diesel fuel, kerosene, propane, gasoline, heavy oils, and natural gas.
