I was camping at Rocky Mountain National Park for a few days prior to heading off to the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, when my Honda generator would not start. The Honda had started every time for four years of full time RV travel. I changed the oil, gas and spark-plug to no avail. I went to the web and got a list of Certified Service Centers and called about a half dozen only to discover that most of the centers listed on the Honda Power Equipment website were not Honda Service Centers at all. I found a generator repair shop in Estes Park and took the Honda there. To make a long and painful story short, they kept the generator overnight, did nothing to it and it started the next morning. They charged me $50. When I returned to camp it started once and I charged up. The next morning, it would not start again. I got my $50 back and packed up camp and drove to Jax Ranch and Home in Ft. Collins, 45 miles away. The Jax mechanic carried the generator in for me and immediately investigated the problem. Within an hour they had diagnosed the problem, found the part and part number and called me. They gave me the part number and suggested that, since it would take the better part of a week for them to get the part and make the repair, that I order the part online and then take it into a Honda Service Center along the way and have them replace it. They charged me nothing. I found the service staff to be knowledgable, polite, helpful and hard-working. They were also correct about the problem. The part was replaced and my Honda started on the first pull and has worked ever since. I highly recommend Jax Ranch and Home and will shop there when I am within driving distance.

Since Jax Outdoors has been built, I go there for my feed and anything else that I might need around my place. Their prices are fair, some items are marked up a little high so be sure to do some prior researching online. Customer service is great, I haven't had an ignorant employee yet who didn't know what they were talking about or have suggestions on how to do a repair. Definitely a homey and clean environment.
