I was told when I was in the hospital, by the neurosurgeon that came to my room, that I had to wear the brace for six weeks. I went to get my x-ray and they wouldn’t do it because I still had my neck brace on. Someone in radiology called the office and was told I couldn’t have an x-ray until Nov 14. That is almost about 10 weeks after my accident! I went to the doc’s office to confront them about this. Come to find out the doc wasn’t even there. So whoever gave radiology the information just made up a date. There is no other explanation of where the date came from. I also reminded the case manager at the doctor’s office that she told me I could get an x-ray at six weeks, then we would go from there. She said she would talk to the doctor when he came in.She called me back and said I had to wait for eight weeks.
