WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (We're SMART, we're Standard Poodles!)Our mom has been bringing her kids (us and others before us) to this clinic for 25 years. She has to go out of her way because we live in St. Paul, but it is well worth the trip. No one takes better care of US (or our Mom when something is wrong with us) because they treat the Patient AND the Animal with gentle, loving kindness. They will NOT do what some clinics do like all the expensive stuff first, they will work through a diagnosis (they're almost always right early on) and work through it in stages if they must. (Our Mom is known for having dogs that get the most peculiar of odd diseases!) We really love coming here because all the people are caring, nice, and obviously love all animals (or they don't get to work here!!!) and we LOVE Doctor Dave and thank him and all of his staff for the very best care!

I only trust my animals with the care of south shore!!! They are amazing there. The staff and the Doctors are amazing. We love south shore.

We have 3 cats and they all hve been taken to The South Shore Vet Clinic/Hospital in Forest Lake MN. These doctors and the staff are so caring about our cats and treat them like I would expect my doctor to treat me. They handle the cats with gentle touch and quiet movement which is wonderful when the cats are nervous about being in the clinic/hospital.

Our 11 month old puppy recently came down with a mysterious malady and I took her to a local vet clinic in Blaine. Suffice it to say the experience was an expensive lesson, which was less then desirable and yielded no diagnosis. ######A friend recommended South Shore Veterinary Hospital up in Forest Lake, so I made an appointment. ######I met with Dr. Tracy Skwiot and after a short examination, she promptly diagnosed the problem. She gave me a decisive plan of action, which involved surgery for our dog. She specified all the procedures and costs that were anticipated, including an estimate of the charges. ######My family and I are very pleased with the service and staff at South Shore Veterinary Hospital. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend them for your veterinary needs.
