My cousin's wife decided to have his services here on March 4&5, 2016. I was totally shocked on how his body looked. His body looked like he was stuffed into the casket. He was just laid inside of the casket which was way too small to close. He wasn't positioned right at all. He was taken to his final resting place with his casket partially opened. I was shocked that no one tried to fix this. The way he was put away was sadder than the actual service. I was truly broken hearted about it. I have never seen anything like this ever. I feel McClendon should have never taken on his body if the didn't have the capability to accommodate someone of his size. The also requested that the pallbearers come to help them transport the body into the hearse. I wouldn't recommend this funeral home to anyone. One of the best funeral homes in St. Louis is Grandberry Mortuary. My family has always received excellent service for our loved one.
