This facility is truly Godsend! I recently had to take my pup in for a second opinion once I left a pet hospital in Stone Oak who tried to charge $13k for surgery and upon examination from Deason they would offer the same treatment for $2k. I don't know why I did not come to Deason to begin with but most definitely will not make that mistake again. The staff is beyond amazing and Dr. Sean and Dr. Deason are so passionate and thorough that this world would be a better place for our animals if we had more Vets like them. I can not express it enough how amazing they are and will be part of their family for any and every part of my animals lives regardless of the hour drive it take for me to get there worth every mile🙌

Had been a big Deason fan for many years until one of my barn kitties had been attacked and injured. I had called to let them know my situation,to make a long story short she was in terrible need of assiastance after a hour and a half wait of seeing others come in just for regular exams etc...I packed her up and left. Never have been so disappointed !

Horrible. Charged me $200 for bloodwork just to tell me my dog is dehydrated. Continued to recommend options that works cause me to pay more however. Mentioned the fluid coming out her eyes and ears and the vet didn't even swab them to look at the substance or attempt to look at her eyes. Wanted me to leave her for more treatment and blood work. Never take my dog or recommend this place.

I have had the same experience as Laura R. Some of the Staff is rude, especially Dr. Deason's wife. They also keep raising their rates so that I can no longer afford them. There are plenty of options in this area now so I am now going to another Vet.

I'm not sure where to start. I have 19 years vet tech experience and I would have never gave the impression that I got from this clinic. I felt like My business was an inconvenience to the staff. Dr. Scott (I think) was recommended to me by a breeder to do my pot belly pig spay. Not many clinics do this so I drive an hour to and from this clinic to bring my four legged child to be dropped off for surgery. At first walk in I felt like no one wanted to help me. The receptionist asked several techs if they could take my pet back but everyone was busy doing something else. I visualized at least 10 staff walking around behind the counter. After about 30 minutes of waiting a young girl came to take my girl back. I reminder her that I was promised she would remain indoors( I was told on 2 phone conversations and 2 times during check in) when I reminded the young lady she was to be inside she quickly stopped and said we'll hold on I need to check with the lead tech then. After another 15-20 minutes someone finally came out and said they put together a pop up kennel for her. My question is if her being indoors was no problem why was a last minute pop up kennel produced. So, pick up day came and the same treatment is felt my the reception staff. Sorry, but if someone gives you a $270 bill, (which is fine I exoected) I expect at least eye contact and a smile. This lady swiped my card threw down my receipt and told me to sign while she disappeared somewhere.after payment my pet was produced about 20 minutes later. After I watched many other waiting. I also witnessed an elderly woman trying to get her 60 pound dog on the scale while the 20 something girl behind the counter watched. I assisted the lady with her dog. I am not questioning the care my pet has received as its barely been 24 hours, but if these people don't care about the humans behind the leashes, how can they care about our pets.

The best vets, vet techs and r...

The best vets, vet techs and receptionist I have done business with. Large animals and small animals are treated in a very special manner.

We have been going to Deasons for 11 hrs. Worth my drive from San Antonio.

When we lived in Floresville , and moved back to S.A we stayed with them.
