After years of sun damage and just growing older, my face was so saggy. I looked tired all the time. Dr Cole did a facelift and necklift. He's great. His office is great. Everything happened just as he described before the surgery. I'm very happy with my "new" face. I'm still Me, just new and improved. Just right.

This is the only plastic surgeon group in northern Arizona. There is no competition and they are by no means excellent. The physicians and staff, from experience and observation, are personable and friendly; however, this does not indicate skill. These physicians lack an aesthetic eye (which is critical for successful outcomes in this field). Take a look at their website and you can see a significant amount of sub-par results. There is one good "mommy makeover" by Lex done in 2010, another decently done facelift posted by Quigley, I believe. They are rather minimal in their example photos and of those that are posted, many are rather unsatisfactory in comparison to other plastic physicians in more competitive locations.

Definitely DO NOT get anything significant done to your face with this facility. They may be board certified plastic surgeons, but they are not board certified facial plastic surgeons. This specialty makes a huge difference in outcome. Rhinoplasty candidate? Look elsewhere!

One reviewer on here made a comment just shy of a decade ago, pleased with her results. I know who this person is (somewhat small town) and while it is great she is happy with her results, her work done is quite apparent, not in a natural, flattering or desirable way.

I'm curious as to why there are no photos posted of the work done by their most recent addition to the practice. I am very interested to see his work in comparison with the decade old work posted of the other surgeons.

If you need your hand fixed, definitely go to the physicians here that specialize in that (Dr. Cole is fantastic), but if you're looking for an aesthetic plastic surgeon, put some more time in to your research and possibly save up more in your budget and go elsewhere. My initial experience dates back over a decade. The patient reviews and photos posted since on their own website show no signs of improvement. Look at it this way- any physician/surgeon can study and pass exams to be qualified, but the aesthetic eye and repetitive experience is what you need to value in plastic surgery procedures.

Pretty much, if you are thin and never developed significant breast tissue, an augmentation with this practice is probably worthwhile (judging from photos posted). From other reviews and photo observation, do no get a lift/reduction/lipo and I've seen multiple disappointing complaints on fat transfer failures. There is also the very recent one below on an augmentation hack job.

These physicians are either 1) spoiled by their non-competitive location 2) Lacking in expertise with little continued education and guided expert practice in the areas they are lacking 3) take on more than what they know they are qualified for, but greedily accept the money from the patient anyways


My assumption is these are generally great practitioners and individuals, but to do a satisfactory job you need to posses more than this. I recommend they narrow down their interest and skill set and focus on that. Refer out what you can not expertly do.

Long story short had a breast augmentation done in 2017 now in 2018 going back to a doctor in Phoenix to have everything that ?Dr? Lex did, taken out and done correctly. As nice as it was to not have to go to Phoenix I?d strongly advise you to steer clear of this dump!! I?d hardly call Lex a doctor however if I were to tell you how I really feel i probably wouldn?t be allowed to post it. I?d give the idiot 0 stars if I could.

Dr Lex put my leg back together! What a great job! The care that was expressed to me was much appreciated.

I use my hands alot in my work and having alot of pain and jercking with my middle finger . Dr Lex was very good and explained all my options to me and injected my hand and told me what to expect and when to follow up if no relieve. I like the fact that he didnt want to do surgery right away and is trying all other things first.

Over the years, i have had several procedures done at Plastic Surgeons of Northern Arizona, two by Dr. Quigley and one Dr. Lex. In all cases i have been pleased by the results and impressed with the doctor's abilities. Great staff, too- very kind and caring, but also very efficient. Impressive!

Have been to their office many times... Always a pleasant experience.

I've had two surgeries with Dr. Quigley. I felt he was very attentive to my concerns and that he listened to what I had to say. His office staff was helpful. I'd highly recommend this practice.

I had Restylane injected into my thining lips. It was painful but I tolerated it, when Dr Lex gave me a mirror, I was shocked to see a very fat lip on the upper left side. Dr Lex stated "oh that's ok all you have to do is squeeze like this" putting pressure on the lip. I did this continually for days to no avail. I went back today thinking he would correct his mistake by putting more in the other side to even them. Instead he indicated my lips weren't even to begin with, not true, this is noticable, I have a fat lip but only on one side.

I have had Dr. Lex do a breast augmentation in 1997,a brow lift and eyelid surgery in 2010. I think he did a great job and I would'nt go to anyone else. I am now scheduling abdominoplasty. With Dr. Lex!

I went to Plastic Surgeons of Northern Az. to get simple botox in my lip and around my outer eyes and they put way too much ,they were very ruff, they treated me like they were working on a car. one eye looked like I had the evil eye.( like I was mad) I never went back.I was so glad when it wore off. I went to some one else and I look beautiful and not like a mad deer in head lights.

ITS BEEN ALMOST ONE YEAR SINCE MY EYE LID SURGERY. VERY SLOPPY JOB. ONE EYE IS DIFFRENT THEN THE OTHER AND THERE IS SO MUCH SKIN ON BOTH OF MY EYES. I PAYED ALOT OF MONEY AND IT DID NOT TURN OUT RIGHT. I AM VERY UPSET OVER THIS. I THOUGHT DOCTOR LEX IS A GREAT SURGEON. HE DID NOT DO A GOOD JOB ON MY EYES
