Provided by YP.comCindy & I met a couple of times to brainstorm & chose a color scheme we thought would look nice. Our meetings went well at first. Cindy told me she would have a quote for me within a week.
Once 3 weeks had passed and I hadn’t heard from her, I e-mailed her asking if she had a chance to work on the quote. I never heard back from her. Over the next few weeks I e-mailed her again, left a voicemail, sent her a text and still no response. If she hadn’t been a referral from a family member who was an acquaintance of hers I would have stopped working with her at this point. It took me asking my family member to contact her before I finally heard back from her--it was about 1 ½ months after our meeting & she hadn’t prepared a proposal.
I contacted Cindy asking if she could meet at my venue with a sample floral piece. Despite several attempts, I never heard from Cindy about if she could meet with us. I again had to ask my family member to contact her & get her to meet us. It was at that meeting that I finally got a proposal from Cindy, almost 2 months after she said I would have it. In my next e-mail I very professionally asked if she could reply to me in a more timely fashion going forward.
The example piece Cindy brought was nice but not what I had envisioned when we discussed centerpieces. I also asked if I could see the lilies that I liked in person since things often look different in person than in pictures. Cindy said the lilies were not common and if I wanted to see them she would need to order in bulk costing me $70. I asked if she knew any other florists in the area who carry the lilies so I could see them in person. She told me that no florist would have these just lying around. Ok..I called 2 florists, found the lilies in stock, and purchased one for $4.50.
It was at this point that Cindy’s e-mails to me became very defensive and unprofessional. Maybe she was upset that I asked if she could communicate with me quicker than she had, maybe because I found the lilies she said were unavailable unless bought in bulk. I don’t know. She was upset we didn’t share the same vision. She went so far as to ask me if I “EVER listened to her” Maybe I’m wrong but isn’t the vendor supposed to listen to the client?
Cindy then sent me an e-mail personally attacking my character. It was completely uncalled for. I treated her with nothing but respect despite her unprofessionalism toward me. She concluded with telling me she couldn’t work with me…a little over 2 months before my wedding. Honestly, this was a big relief. I did not want to work with her but was giving her the courtesy due to her being an acquaintance of my family member. I would hate for any other bride to have her bail on them so close to their event.
I have since found an EXCELLENT florist who is professional, communicates in a timely fashion, and treats his brides with respect. I couldn’t have had a more different experience with him than I had with Cindy. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!!

Provided by YP.comi went there to get prices for my wedding at first they seemed really nice. they took all the information they needed i looked through books and picked out what kinds of flowers i would like and what style bouquets. then a week later i called to find out when i would have the price estimates and the wedding coordinator who i met with the first day started telling me how she didnt have time to get them yet because of another wedding she was currently doing and said that i still have a long time til my wedding so there is no rush on my wedding and the other wedding is more important.
1 think i would never tell a bride. it obviously upset me then she continued to say if it was a problem that she couldnt get my prices for me in the time that i wanted then she doesnt think we should work together.
one week is plenty long enough and to say that my wedding wasnt important is very disrespecting. i would NEVER go there again for any type or arrangements or flowers of anysort.
