It is truly sad that I have to write this review. We have used Sawyers Jewelers for over 20 years. But recently they have totally lost our respect. They did an insurance appraisal on my LeVian Tanzanite ring. They said it was a fake stone and had 36 small diamonds. It fact, it is a genuine Tanzanite and has 44 diamonds. We had 3 master gemologists certify it is a genuine stone. The appraiser appears to not know or not care about what he is doing. Worse than that, when we called multiple times and sent emails to the owner to bring this to his attention, he took over a month to respond. He did not do anything but send us a new appraisal. Why should we believe anything he says anymore? We are posting this to warn others about getting appraisals from Sawyers. Don't do it.

Sawyer Jewelers is the GEM of Fenton! They not only make it OK to throw rocks at girls but they make it FUN!

I can't say enough about Sawyer Jewelers in Fenton, Michigan in my hometown. For being a smaller store they have more jewelry than I've ever seen in a retail jewelry store. Their jewelry is so different than the "normal" jewelry you see at the mall and if you don't see what you are looking for, they will do everything in their power to get it for you.



Not only do they sell high quality peices they have so many diamonds! Their jeweler Chip worked with my fiance and I for hours to teach us about diamonds and how to buy the right one. Three different times actually and he taught us how to go anywhere and look at diamonds but when we went to the "big box store" later we couldn't get anyone to help us like he did. Of course we went back and bought our diamond from him.



The staff is so knowleagable on just about everything and are really friendly, they even knew my name when I came in the store last time. I"ll probably never go anywhere again for my jewelry - they even have great sterling silver jewelry and really affordable too.
