I arrived at 7:50 am for an 8 am appointment to get a new spare tire on my rim. It took over 45 minutes and I was told my $39.00 tire was $89.00. The manager, Jeff Mack, repeated to me that the tire I asked for was an $89, Nika Vastera V346. I showed him the price on the Internet and he said the tire had been on sale and the PEP Boys website had not been updated. He gave me the tire at my originally quoted price of of $39., but no apology for the error. When I arrived home, the tire cover had not been reinstalled.
