Provided by YP.comI closed my account because everytime I turned around, the fort bragg federal credit union would create another annoying fee. My family has been lifelong members until recent years. All my siblings and I have ultimately closed our accounts because of disappointing rules, untrained service representatives, and unexplainable and annoying fees. In the 1980's, to have an ATM card cost you a fee of $5 a month. My family all turned in our ATM cards, as well as many members did. They stopped that crazy fee. Now, to get paper statements, it costs you a $1 a month. If you leave your account unused or dormant for a few years, the credit union will fee it until it is not existant anymore. It is worst than a bank. A bank will turn dormant accounts to state treasury of unclaimed funds. I hate how if you are primary member, if you add co-owners/ co-applicants, you must ask co-applicant if it is ok to add more as co-owner/ co-applicant. You are primary member, you should have control.

Provided by YPmobileThe one on Ramsey street is better. I made a deposit into my account that they deposited into my daughter's account twice by their mistake although we have different account numbers. I know I put my account number on the slip that day as I told the lady at member services, she was very nice but when we told the branch manager, she made it like a mistake on my part instead of giving that teller more training. Plus she told me she was going to flag the account. It could have been worse and deposited into someone else account. The branch Mgr didn't want to rectify the situation with the teller so I patronize the fbfcu on Ramsey street. Don't need those k in ND of mistakes with my money

Provided by YP.comThis place is absolutely horrible in customer service and most people I have spoken to over the phone have been flat out rude. If your military and you want to do banking I would suggest USAA never would I recommend this company to one of my friends.

Provided by YP.comI had a line of credit and was behind because of family emergencies, I kept the people up-to-date because I was out of state for a couple months. I told them I would be in on the 7th to pay the past due payments and get checking back positive. I go in on the 7th and pay everything like I had arranged, however AFTER I pay it they tell me my line of credit had been closed, so the $150 I just paid on it I couldn't use, after being told yesterday everything was fine and I would still be able to access my line of credit. So then I put the money in the checkings so I can use my Visa card, after being told I would be able to by 2 different people, then after I am done I change the name on my account and double check everything with a really nice lady named Rhonda. If you go there, deal with her if you can. She did everything she could possibly think of to help me. She tells me that my Visa card for my checking is linked to my line of credit, so I can't even access my checking account. Leaving me out $200. I spoke to several different people over the phone a woman named Deanna, who is a total witch, a man named Ken Hopkins who is an even bigger jerk and was VERY rude to me, and the president of the bank, who was as equally rude and obnoxious. Even though their employees told me everything was fine, and I double checked and was told the same thing before I put the money in there, I am out, and my kids, who is 7 months and 19 months have to go without now. I hate Ft. Bragg FCU, and will NEVER use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
