wonderful place to eat with friendly people

This casual place has the best fired catfish in the state and the fried chicken breasts are wonderful also. The third and only other item on the menu (that I care about) is fried shrimp and it is okay but nothing outstanding.

We like the family style servings of chicken and catfish. It is brought out on a platter and is refillable. In addition to the meats, the beans and slaw which come with the family style are both outstanding!

We drive from Sunset Hills MO to Farmington just to enjoy the scenery and the meal. Only an hours drive but very pleasurable.

Call for hours because they are not open every day and the times change on Friday and Saturday. Not open on Sunday darn it. You are not going for ambiance--you're going for the eats. Place is large, clean and neat but not fancy. Service is good.
