Mott Corporation, formerly Mott Metallurgical Corporation, was founded as a Connecticut corporation in 1959. It consists of two divisions: the industrial division, which produces large chemical filtration systems and specialty porous devices; and the high purity division that produces filters for semiconductor quality gases. Since 1968, the Mott Corporation has expanded its facilities to a total of 86,000-square-feet. The company s specialty is providing porous metal specifically designed for environments where extreme operating conditions, demanding efficiencies or exacting flow specifications must be met.
