I went today with my bf. We both were Mickey's clients. He did a wonderful job of explaining everything he was doing. So much that it took over 2hrs! We had a babysitter mix up and he graciously took us even though we were late. He was extremely friendly and full of wisdom. Its not fancy place but it is clean, cozy and they absolutely care about there clients. I would take that over fancy and quick any day:) He even throws in some humor. We loved him! My bf has been battling fungus for yrs and they will be working together to cure it without drugs. Mine was extremely painful on my big toe since he addressed an ingrown toenail issue. I expected it to hurt. Even though it was very painful it is much better now and i have absolute faith he did what he had to do to fix it. I was referred by a friend and i will refer everyone... especially anyone who is having trouble with the overall health of their feet :) THANK YOU MICKEY!!!

Kim

I'd love to be able to give a bad review so it'd be easier for me to get in to see Kim. I've always had a great experience and have had someone who cares about the long term as well as short term happiness and wellness of her clients.

I like this place a lot, she takes her time and does my nails right every time. I go to the mall if it's spontaneous but they go so fast they don't pay much attention. I used to go to Nail Designs but it's so painful there every time I go. I'm surprised the other reviewer had a bad experience, but yeah you do need cash. Not a big surprise being a small nail operation (which is in the Promenade mall on 13th Ave now)

I used to go to Fancy nails, b...

I used to go to Fancy nails, but that was bought out and now is Happy nails....When I first walked in, the first thing I asked was if they took checks or credit cards because I had no cash on me. They said that they didn't but I could go to an ATM AFTER I get my nails done, which I thought was kind of odd. So the lady starts doing my nails and comments on how dry my cuticles are. Instead of being careful around that area since obviously they are dry, she goes at then with the electric file, causing me to bleed. She had trouble gluing the tips onto my nails, and actually did them so uneven. When she was using a cardboard nail file to file down any edges, she managed to cut me a second time. All of this cost me $40. I ended up having to go to a different salon two weeks later and had to have the tips replaced because they were so uneven and most of them had grown out. So, if you want to pay $40 to get cut and have the worlds worst manicure, then go to Happy Nails.

I would like to make a side note, and I don't know if this is the same place or not, but there is now a Happy Nails on 13th Ave s which is the one I am reviewing. I haven't been to the one on Broadway and I don't know if it is the same place that has changed places.
