Permanent Damage done here...

The nail technician at Diva so thoroughly mangled my nails two and a half years ago that I have permanent damage to the nail plate. This injury was done with a drill to "fill" my gel nails. It felt like torture and each time I pulled my hand back from the pain of what felt like intense burning, the tech treated me like I was an American sissy. She clearly did not care that she was causing me intense pain. I should have listened to my instinct to walk out in the middle of it. I have since learned that it is NOT recommended to use that electric drummel drill (the very same tool you can buy in Home Depot designed to shave down wood and metal, not human fingernails!). She drilled my nails right down almost to the skin. The burning was so bad when they were exposed to the UV light that I couldn't stand it. This is what has caused the permanent disfigurement to my nails. My advise is to not let anyone drill your nails, and AVOID THIS PLACE !!!!

WORST SPA EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED!

WARNING!!! AVOID THIS PLACE BY ALL MEANS !!! AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I WAS BURNED TWICE, AND INJURED!! My boyfriend purchased a gift certificate for my birthday for a Spa manicure, Spa pedicure, and 1 hour massage. (Let me start by letting you know I am a graduate of School for Skin Care and Massage Therapy, and have just over a year of exp. working in the Spa industry.) My "spa manicure" is the worst manicure I've had in my life! I got them done on Sunday afternoon, the paint was CHIPPING OFF by Tuesday morning. He also forced my hand down into the paraffin dip and BURNED the web of my skin between my thumb and pointer finger. I still have a mark from the blister. During the Spa Pedicure, he did not cleanse the feet, or calf. He did barely ANY massage, and acted put off by the fact that he was doing a pedicure in the first place. Very unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. Finally, the massage. This should have been done FIRST, so that I would not be going in between sheets with freshly painted nails and toes. But aside from them doing this all backwards, I went to school for massage and I can tell you without a doubt the woman who did my massage DID NOT go to school. She had no flow whatsoever. She concentrated way too long and WAY TOO HARD on my scapula. (shoulder blade area) And I told her 3 times to ease up. I was LITERALLY GRIPPING THE TABLE!!! She hurt me so bad that I could not carry my own purse on my shoulder for 4 days without pain, and I had to take a prescription muscle relaxer just to be able to lay on my back to sleep at night. She also took a hot stone out of boiling hot water and pushed it directly into my skin without testing the heat first. I JUMPED in PAIN and she did not even apologize, but huffed at me and walked out of the room to run the stone under water. I have about a 3 inch long burn mark from the stone that has been on my skin for 4 days now. When I was finally done, I rushed out of that place only to find out that my boyfriend had already tipped them over the phone 20%. I wish I had known, I would have DEMANDED it back! Also, it was quite convenient that when I called to talk to the owner about the services, we kept mysteriously getting "disconnected." AVOID THIS PLACE WHATEVER YOU DO! SPEND YOUR MONEY AT A REAL SPA WITH QUALIFIED PEOPLE!!!!
