I had a major problem with my main water line to my house I called Alexander and they sent one of their crew to check out the problem. They were there when they said the would be, they followed up with phone calls and did a complete work up. I have used them in the past and their work was impeccable. if i need plumbers in the future,I hope not!,but they will be the first and only people I call. Their prices are more then resonable and their work is with out a doubt first rate. You cant go wrong by hiring this company, you will be happy and it wont drain your bank account!

Feel like being cheated and screwed? Feel like having to have hire another plumber to repair the job that you hired Alexanders to do? If so call Alexanders and ask for Chuck for that is what will happen when you call this company! New to the area and had an issue with our plumbing. Chuck was fast to show up and tell us what the issue was (pretty obvious) but that is when the headache began! Chuck tells us he has to go to the shop for a part that he did not have on his truck and will return in 30 minutes or so. Well 2 hours later and a few phone calls a truck (marked alexanders) pulls into the driveway! 2 guys step out that are NOT Chuck and that is when the episode of 3 stooges started! The 2 guys Chuck sent to do the repair had NO CLUE on what the issue was or how to repair it! They were asking ME, yes the customer what "Chuck said and how was he going to fix it so they could do it for him since he was unable to return to the job himself" I knew at the moment this was not going to turn out well. I will say these 2 guys went back and forth with me and i told them to get Chuck on the phone and they did at least 4 or 5 times while chain smoking cigarettes in my presence and then flicking the butts in my yard which I found later after they left! These guys had NO CLUE how to fit a simple issue and in fact made the issue much worse then it was by not repairing it properly. I had to hire another contractor who was actually honesty with me and told me that the problem could not be fixed and the system needed to be REPLACED to correct all of Alexanders plumbing mistakes! Now here is the kicker! After all of this took place I called Chuck and explained that his repair did not work and he said it would and that my system needed to be replaced since his guys damaged it beyond repair! His reply was "tough and take it or leave it". I was told that if I did not pay his outrageous bill of 500.00 he would take it to court. I explained to him that his "repair" did not work and that I needed to spend a lot more to actually replace the system that his guys damaged beyond repair and that I was willing to compromise but not for the full amount! I got no where still! I will say this. If you are in need of repairs PLEASE call someone else! I am trying to help you avoid the headache that I had to deal with. This company is only out for the almighty dollar and can careless if they fix the job right or not! Plenty of other HONEST, DEPENDABLE contractor's in Adams County that will do the job and treat you with respect!

I woke up on Saturday morning and had no water! How excited I was to call Alexander's Plumbing and speak to a real person. Zach Connery arrived at my house in and hour and successfully fixed the problem. Plus, he went above and beyond his job by killing the swarm of bees in my cellar! Thanks to Alexander's and to Zach!

December 3, 2012 I used Alexander’s Plumbing (Fairfield, PA) for years. I’ve always paid for services IN FULL, no problem. I had Alexander’s Plumbing to do some work in August 2012. They work was completed, I paid by credit card—IN FULL, then I realized they had removed the regulator that was attached to the house. I informed Chuck immediately that the regulator had been removed. He told me it would be reattached—that was August. After months and several phone calls I notified the credit card company in November and filed a dispute. The regulator was returned/reattached last week of November. Credit Card Company notified. This morning, (now December) I received a phone call from Donna Alexander who cursed me out, threatened to take me to court, and shouted at me regarding the dispute I filed. I told her to do what she needed to so. As I tried to explain what caused the dispute to be filed she was loud, rude and unprofessional. She didn’t hear a word I said so I hang-up the phone. I called back minutes later. She still remained threatening, loud, and angry. I didn’t get a chance to tell her the problem had been corrected. Do your research before calling a customer. This is no way, I want to be treated. Customers concerns are not addressed promptly. Disputes are handled by Donna who is not professional, threatening, and rude. I will never use Alexander’s Plumbing, Fairfield, PA again. They are not the only company that services Carroll Valley. Be ware! RECOMMENDATION TO COMPANY: 1. Address customer concerns immediately. 2. Hire an employee that has customer relation background—Donna Alexander is not the one. 3. Be professional at all times even in a dispute.

I want to thank you all at Alexander's plumbing for your quick response and your knowledge of your jobs. I have been a loyal costumer for over 15 years and have never had a problem with my services be it during regular business hours or the 24 hour emergency number. Your guys have always been there to take care of my pumbling needs! Thanks again for all you have done!

If you truly think that you will get an honest estimate from Charlie, Jr., you are sadly mistaken. He will take you for all you are worth or what he thinks you are worth. Had a home I was trying to sell and wanted someone to check the plumbing. It took him a week or more to get an estimate. Oh, I forgot to say it was hunting season. Good luck finding him then. He is neither kind nor courteous. The clerical staff seems to be the only ones that has their stuff together. Too bad they don't actually do the work.
