please read before making purchase!!!!!!!!



TODAY IS FRIDAY, JULY 22, 2011, AND I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO ASHLEY CUSTOMER SERVICES AND MANAGER FOR THE PAST 6 DAYS; 4-5 TIMES A DAY.



MY REASON: UH DAMAGE DRESSER AND CHEST. SCRATCHED UP AND BEAT UP. AS SOON AS I NOTICED IT I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THAT A TECHNICIAN WILL BE COMING TO MY HOME.



THE CHICANA ARRIVED AND LEFT MY FURNITURE THE SAME WAY AS IT ORIGINALLY WAS. I CALLED ASHLEY FURNITURE AS SOON AS THE TECHNICIAN LEFT. I WAS DEALING WITH A LADY NAMED TYRESSA, TYRESSA ASKED MY TO E-MAIL THEM PICTURES OF THE DAMAGED FURNITURE.



SHE ALSO SAID THAT THE TECHNICIAN WON'T HAVE A REPORT AND PICTURES READY UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. SO A LONG STORY SHORT;I TRANSFERRED TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND THE ALL SAID THAT THEY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO ORDER ME NEW FURNITURE AND THAT THE DAMAGE IS REPAIRED ABLE BUT THE TECH COULDN'T FIX IT.



I ARGUED WITH THEM AND THEY WOULDN'T BUDGE. I TOLD THEM THAT I BOUGHT NEW FURNITURE NOT SCRATCHED UP ONES. IN THAT CASE I WOULD OF GONE TO THE FLEA MARKET OR SECOND HAND STORE.



I ALSO TOLD THEM THAT THEIR NOT GIVING ME ANYTHING FOR FREE. THEY STILL TOLD ME THAT THERE WILL BE NO EXCHANGE OR REFUND. THEY ALSO SAID THAT IF I WANTED AN EXCHANGE, THAT I NEEDED TO CALL WITHIN 24 HRS.



I AM SO MAD AND AGGRAVATED I JUST WANTED TO RENT A U-HAUL AND SEND THEIR CRAP BACK. I COULD NOT AND WOULD NOT BUDGE WITH THEIR ANSWER.



FINALLY AFTER CALLING THEM FOR DAYS AND MANY TIMES A DAY. I HAD TO ARGUING WITH TYRESSA AND THE CORPORATE MANAGER NAMED ANGELA, THEY FINALLY SAID "YES" BUT HOLLY CRAP I WENT THROUGH ANGER AND STRESS WITH THEM TO END UP FINALLY SAYING "YES".



I WILL NEVER EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, THIS IS A LESSON TO BE LEARNED. THEY PAINT YOU A PRETTY PICTURE AND MAKE EVERYTHING SEEM LIKE A GOOD CHOICE BUT AS SOON AS YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR THE LITERALLY GIVE YOU THE BOOT. TRUST ME I AM NOT SAYING THIS FOR NOTHING.



PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE. ALL THEY DO IS SAY NO OR SAY THAT THE FURNITURE IS REPAIRED ABLE AND THAT IT COULD BE FIXED. BULL!!!



WOW THEY LIE AND TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS POORLY. BY THE WAY I BOUGHT MY FURNITURE IN FAIRFIELD, CA.....

Don't be sucked in by low prices

They prices are not low enough to make it worth the shoddy quality of this store's furniture. We purchased a new entertainment center which the delivery people broke before arrival. They delivered it anyway and we had to deal with the corporate customer care center to have it replaced. After months of back and forth and never receiving a discount promised by their corporate office, we will never buy another item from this horrible chain. Their corporate customer service never once returned a phone call in over 15 attempts to resolve the issue. Like I said, don't get sucked in by their seemingly low prices!
