After several times ordering delivery from the Fairborn JY Bamboo we finally decided not only to never order there again, but to make sure that this review is posted everywhere.

EVERY time you order delivery from them it will be at least a half hour later than what they tell you, if not a full hour later. So that generally means waiting about 2+ hours for food that is literally 5 minutes down the road.

(We don't just drive there because we work in the hospital and we're not allowed to leave for lunch.)



***This last time my coworker ordered online and gave her cell #, but since the food was an hour late she didn't tip. SHE GOT A TEXT ASKING WHY NO TIP.***



Oh, and god help you if you call to see if your food is on the way, because they are so snippy and hang up in your face.

I called them literally 2 minutes after they opened one day, and then called back when my food was a half hour past the time they said it would arrive. First, they told me it was on the way. When I called back about 25 min later, the guy yelled at me saying that I had only put in the order an hour ago so I needed to be patient, when in reality I had ordered it 2 hours ago and they had apparently just failed to put it in the computer.



I almost never write reviews on anything unless the service is absolutely outstanding, or absolutely horrible. Guess which one this is.

Great place to go to and also a plus they cook the food as you order none of that cheap buffet food...

Best sushi, Best Chinese food, best service.



First, the sushi is amazing. They have every type of sushi I'd ever heard of and a few I didn't! If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend the sweet potato roll! I'd never heard of it before JY Bamboo and now I can't leave without one! Regular menu also includes cheaper rolls of single item sushi as well as common favorites like the Philadelphia Roll or Boston Roll. They also have more advanced rolls like the Pink Lady which has a variety of fish, and three sauces wrapped in a pretty pink soybean paper. Plus house specials add to the adventure!



Second, the Chinese food beats any I've ever had! The old stand-by of Sweet and Sour Chicken is always good, but when you break out of your comfort zone, they have much more to offer!! The General Tao's Chicken is the best ever! The sauce is rich with a sweet spicy flavor. The chicken is actually plump and fried and doesn't taste dried out like other Chinese restaurants. The mu shu chicken/beef/shrimp is amazing. Not only is the best ever, but they actually use a soybean paper tortilla instead of the cheaper less authentic burrito wrap.



Finally, SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE. The staff there treats everyone like royalty. Substitutions are welcome, comments are valued, and any order can be changed to your liking!!! This place REALLY takes care of their customers!



So, give it a try! You will NOT be disappointed!

This place has the best chinese and sushi I have ever had!! Tried several in this area, and this restaraunt tops them all....by far! The menu is very diverse and lots to choose from. Always made to fell very welcome here and the service is superb! I highly recommend this place.

This place is very deceptive from the outside. It looks small and modest but it has by far the best sushi and chinese food I have ever eaten. The price is very affordable and the wait staff is always very professional and kind. They also have tai and japanese cuisine. If your looking for a little variety and the best meal ever, I highly recommend it.
