Provided by YP.comI used HD to kennel my GSD when moving to Fairbanks. Dakota was there for 3 weeks. When I arrived to pick her up I was informed she was not once socialized with other dogs and the wash I paid for was poor at best. She smelled and was soaked. When I questioned this I was told they were very busy, she would overheat if she was dried (never before in 4 years has that taken place) and finally that she would sit when being washed so it was her fault. I am extremely disappointed as HD had been recommended by a couple people. Beware if your are expecting good treatment or service. Will not use again or recommend to others.

Provided by YP.comI have been using them for 5 years. My dogs are happy and healthy. They love it, So do I. Roxanne hires good people and they care about the animals.

Provided by YP.comCome for a tour!! We like to show people what we are about!! answer any questions, MEET US!! SEE OUR FACILITY!! I guarantee that the bottom reviews are unfortunate but absolutely not true! If there ever was a problem we would want to address it immediately as we take our job seriously!! We rarely are ever -50 and we have never walked a small dog or forced ANY dog to do something like that! All guests are on a written down potty schedule and go out 4-6 times a day... We do 2 times a day physical inspections of each dog and multiple loves and treats!!

Provided by YPmobileI wae there. The dogs were over housed. Small dogs were forced on half mile walks in -50. I was bit and the owner said "what do you want me to do about it?"

Provided by YP.comWe took our dog to Holy Dog to say for one full day and two half days. She came back in terrible condition. Her elbows were all scraped up (bloody and weepy). Her knee was swelled up; it had a big lump on it. And she stank of urine. She is a Newfoundland with a huge bladder. She can go for a whole 8 hour work-day without peeing if necessary. There is absolutely no reason why a five-year-old house-broken dog should come back from a two day stay at a kennel smelling of urine. We had to give her a bath immediately upon getting her home, and she still smells. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO HOLY DOG. I don't know what they did to her, but she should never have come back in such terrible condition!!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comWe dropped our puppy off with a month and a half supply of dog food, his bed (with a removable cover) and many toys and bones. I was shocked at the sight of our dog when we picked him up. He was soaked with urine and had feces all over his coat. They had poor accountability of our dog and his things. He was far too thin, his hip bones and ribs were all visible, and he ate his food as if he were starving for the first week he was home. There was no excuse for we provided more than enough food and were sent home with the extra.
We were given excuses by the owner of Holy Dog as to why they could not produce his toys, and why they had not washed his bed. Our dog bed was covered in his own excrement. His condition and the condition of his bed leads us to believe that our dog was subjected to these unhealthy conditions during his entire stay at Holy Dog.
It would be our advice to find a better kennel with better care and more caring staff.
