The food is exceptional, and the service is great. Though the ambience is elegant, the kids are treated well and had a wonderful time. Our service was hilarious had us laughing the whole time. Will definitely go again.

We were seated and served with no problem, the food was only OKAY. It was what happened upon payment of the check that this review is owed to. Apparently the server swiped my debit card twice; once for our check of $93.55 and once for another's party check of $77.12. Not only did the restaurant / server NOT make me aware of the matter but they did not return my card. I didn't notice I had only been brought back the receipt to sign and not my debit card. Twenty miles and one hour later I realized I was missing my debit card, I immediately contacted that the restaurant to check if it had been left behind; informed that it was, I asked why it had not been returned to me. The only thing they could offer was that "maybe I left too soon" (Despite the fact that our party remained in the restaurant at least 20 min. after payment of the check)It wasn’t until the next day I discovered (ON MY OWN) that the card had been swiped twice. After calling this time the manager insisted they "investigate" the matter and get back w/ me. Upon speaking w/ him again (after I called HIM back), he offered no explanation as to why I was charged twice and not given back my debit card, only that the second amount would be voided out. More than anything I was disturbed by the restaurant's attitude towards me as if I had done something wrong, no compensation offered, NOTHING. I predict that I will never again spend a dime w/ this business.

They sit you at another table if you are sitting there too long. It is just a small place and they have many people waiting to be served as the food IS THAT Good! If anyone was being disrespectful, it was you, for taking so long -- just sitting around after you all ate some of the best food anywhere. They do not use too much butter, just enough to season the food, but you can always ask them not to use any butter, and they will follow your wishes. They are always giving free coupons for birthdays, or other special gifts. This is one of my favorite places and we eat there all the time. If you skip this place because of a review from someone who cannot even spell correctly, then you've missed one of the best restaurants in town. This place rules heads & shoulders above any other restaurant in town. And yes, if you wait hours at their Hibachi Steak tables, they will sit you at another table. We have offered ourselves to move so that they can sit other people -- as WE want to be respectful of others who are waiting to enjoy this place as much as we do.

Simply the best on the south side

The food is great, the service is fast, try the new grill. Everyone takes home a doggy-bag.

When we moved to the South Side, we thought we had left quality Asian cuisine behind - but this place is better than most on the North Side. We have been coming here for over four years, and it remains one of our favorites. The food is exceptional, and the service is top of the line. Though the ambience is elegant, the kids are treated well. The portions are generous and the prices are more than fair. Warning - you will wait for a table, but a 2008 dining room extension should ease the crush.

They have a lunch buffet Monday thru Friday that has the best quality of food I have ever had. They give you a wide variety of different entrees everyday and again I can't stress enough the high quality of food they give you. That is why you usually have a wait before being seated. Always crowded.
