I only needed two shots and refill authorized on two medications prescribed elsewhere. They charged for a sick pet exam ($40). The Vet was extremely difficult to understand. He was frienfly but didnt have a clue. Kept asking the same questions about which shots my dog needed and dose of medication even though the last Vet had faxed them all his records. The support staff was borderline rude and very pushy about an extra shot I'd never heard of. Not returning.

Google Dr. Robinett veterinarian. She has a mobil practice and will come to you. No hauling pets!!! I'm not saying the new people are bad but I know and trust Dr.Robinett!

After moving from Everett further south years ago, I drive 70 miles to take my little Toy Poodle there, because they are THAT good. I have been to a few veterinarians, but here is where they found out back then what was really wrong with our little predecessor to Bobby, Pierre Bismarck. They enabled an arthritis ridden old character hound to live on to a ripe 16-1/2 years and be happy at it. This is hands down the best clinic for general diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Robinette is really good with animals and some of the complainers here should listen to all advise to them about handling their animals. She is gentle, but firm, and dogs love that! Our pups have always been allowed to be all the dog they wanted. Pierre was known very jokingly and lovingly as "The Man Eating Poodle", due to his sometime ill temper, but the staff got him to kiss everybody!

Now I bring Bobby there every year for his checkup, he has all his shots there, and they clean his teeth, all without problems, and at a very reasonable price. I wish human clinics were this affordable :) They are competent and care, and everybody there is just nuts about animals. The place is worth a day in Puget Sound traffic for sure, every one of the 70 miles I drive there from Spanaway!

Pierre's picture is still on the wall, just look for a proud standing little black Toy Poodle with big attitude.

NEVER EVER GOING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

We went to value vet in everett because our dogs eyes were swolen and goopy when he woke up, i looked online for vets that specialiZed in eye problems and value vet popped up. It specifically said they specialized in eyes and ears for dogs and cats, we took my rottweiler there and he has always been so friendly and obedient with anyone, dr Robinette came in and immediately asked for the leash, i gave it to her with the intention she was going to look at the issue, but instead she began ripping around the leash and choking my dog pulling time towards her trying to make him heel. My dog tried putting his head in my lap to get comfort andi pet his head, dr robinette then began schooling me and my mom about how we are eenabling him and saying dont touch him hes a spoiled rotten brat and iam going to establish my rules with him. She then attempted to pull him by the leash until he growled, she quickly walked up to him and kneed him in the side then told him to KNOCK IT OFF in a stern tone. I was shocked and in dismay. I didnt bring my sick animal to be abused! After pressing on his eyes she says he just has an allergic reaction and to give him 4 benadryl and walk him 8 miles a day because hes fat. We left and went home. The nxt day my dog woke up his eyes were the size of golf balls and were swolen shut. I rushed him to The vet hospital up the st from my house and they had to perform emergency surgery to remove both his eyes. The vet there told us he had glaucoma and a pain level of 10 outta 10. Advanced care animal clinic gave my dog the most caring and compassionate treatment and care i could ever ask for. And after the experience we had at value vet i had no faith in what wss to come. Dr robinete didnt do her job as a vetrenarian nor did she offer any tests to rule out further problems. Dr sturgis at advanced care clinic knew immediately that my dog was in excruciating pain just by looking at him. And she said my dogs eyes wrre so swolen that it was causing him so much pain. They boarded him for two weeks for free everyday while he was recovering vwhile i had to work during the day. I wil never go back to value vet. In attempt to resolve the issue with value vet the owner offered to pay for part of the 2220 dollar surgery and then backed out and told me to call dr robinette and speak with her. I have NEVER been.so disrespected and lied to. Then the owner says that nowhere does it state that they specialize in eyes for dogs. But i.found the yellowpages site that says they.do! shortly after sending the owner the info of where itsaid they do, it was taken off the website. Can u say LIARS??? What a joke! If u want ur animals to be mistreated and choked take ur animals to value vet and ask for dr robinette.

Very rude

Dr.R was very rude to my daughter who of course was just as concerned about our dog as I was she would just snap at her if she tried to say anything about our dog .i also tried to talk to her about why I thought my dog might be sick or acting the way she was acting and she rudely interrupted me and said we are not talking about that right now . As she walked out and tried to bill me for a million different tests . I will never go back there again . I simply gave my dog some antibiotics and she is doing a lot better . This was the vet that I went to often and usually I brought my dog for shots and flea treatments but I bring my dog there when she's sick and the dr didnt even handle my dog nicely at all . She is so rude and very unprofessional . I'll never ever go back there !!

Great vets and caring service

My pekingese had an eye infection so I took her in to Valus Vet. Dr. Hotter gave her antibiotics after diagnosis. I returned as directed and Brigitte's eye was healing. Dr, Vin told me to continue meds for another week. So far, Brigitte's eye looks good now. Thank you.P.s. my special Thanks to Katie who helped calm down Brigitte and prep her for preliminary exam and "eye stain."jules

I have taken all three of my cats to Value Vet from when they were wee kittens. I have always been pleased with the gentle care they have received, the friendly staff there (Dr. Bin is excellent), and their more than fair pricing. Their name, Value Vet, says it all. Don't let any negative reviews you read confuse you - this is the place to take your pet.

I began bringing our Mastiff in to Dr. Bin to have him fixed. She was so awesome. When we had a sick puppy, they were so kind to us. We have had outstanding service. It doesnt bother me that they dont separate cats and dogs in the waiting area. Everyone has their animals under control. A surgery that would have cost me over $3000.00 at Pilchuck was $700.00 here. They really care about our pets and put their health over any monetary gain. I have always found the Dr's professional and never had any problem with them at all.

WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! We took ...

WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! We took our dog to Value Vet 10 times in a year for Allergies and for her nails to be clipped. The FIRST and FIFTH (final) visits "Dr" R saw our dog. "Dr" R was rude, unprofessional, and mis-handled our dog right in front of us. AT NO OTHER Vet have I ever been asked for my dogs leash so that the Vet could handle the dog. My dog was already muzzled, but for some reason "Dr" R felt it necessary to show my pet who's "Boss" in order to give us a referral to a dermatologist. (Makes perfect sense right? WRONG) She began by tightening the muzzle with such a violent motion that it jerked my dogs neck and head. Just 3 weeks before, we took her to Ocean Shores with us where she as usual....was 100% friendly with people, pets, and KIDS. My dog is a 13 month old, 40 pound female Pitt/Boxer and has NEVER bit a person, but we were asked that she stay muzzled for precaution (no problem). After "Dr" R adjusted the muzzle as tight as she could get it, she asked me for the leash, at this point my dog is on the leash, muzzled, and noticeably scared. Then she started trying to get my dog to heal, pulling her around by the leash, my dog begins to growl and bark, the "Dr" persists and tries harder, and then my dogs starts to thrash and bark. That's when I stepped in and took the leash away, and brought her back to me, she was pretty shook up, shaking, and had a mild limp. I said "that's IT!! she has NEVER been like this with ANYONE...you're DONE handling my dog, so STOP" She somehow twisted her paw up when she was struggling with that poor excuse for a Veterinarian. She gave us a business card for us to take our dog to see a dermatologist, and she took a 2 minute look into her ears as I held her by the muzzle and harness....which is ALL we wanted done in the first place. Then she asked me to take the dog to the car while my girlfriend paid, like my dog and I did something wrong. What a monster of a person, with no care and compassion for a sick animal. I didn't take my dog there to be handled, trained, judged or jerked around from the leash/muzzle straps by "Dr" R.

***For the record, Dr Bin is GREAT, when she saw our dog, she put her hand out slowly, talked soft, and allowed our dog to come to her, like ANY HALF WAY smart person does, Schedule with her ONLY for your pets protection IF you go to Value Vet***

AWESOME!!!

I am a single person on a fixed income. Earlier today I brought in my sick kitten and without even blinking they helped me to the fullest extent imaginable. They helped by giving their charity fund and dipping into their own pockets to help me pay for my bills, tests AND the medication that is required to help my kitten to be healthy. THANK YOU SOOOOOO VERY MUCH. Keep up the good work.
