Most uncomfortable shopping experience ever! My visit should have been a quick in then out but turned into me waiting with my three young children in the customer service line so I could request to speak with the store manager.

I went into the store to get four pairs of cheap gloves, those $2 pairs. Everything was fine until I got to the self checkout register.

Penny was the attendants name. Talk about uncomfortable. I allowed my children to scan their own gloves. As my middle child is scanning hers, I feel a presence. I turn to find Penny within inches of me and with locked eyes, watching my every move. I ask if she needed anything and she says, "oh I'm sorry, I was daydreaming." She continues standing in the same place within inches of me. I try to ignore Penny. My son puts his gloves up. Penny is watching me and my every move like a hawk. Remember, these are $2 gloves and only four pairs. There were lots of other people at the other self checkout registers but Penny felt the need I suppose to fixate on my station. I asked her again if she needed anything. She said, "oh no, I'm sorry. I was watching your oldest and just started daydreaming again." What!?! I was completely bothered and uncomfortable. I finished my transaction and couldn't hold words any longer. I said, "you know with you standing right behind me, within inches I might add, you made me very uncomfortable." She says, "oh no, I'm sorry but I was afraid for your children. I didn't want the cart to hurt them.". The cart?!? My children were standing still the whole time. And my children are MY responsibility and not Penny's. She was not afraid for my children and she was certainly not daydreaming. Penny was watching me like a Police Officer to make sure I wasn't stealing something. Never have I been so uncomfortable and offended at the same time. When confronting her, she talked over me, rolled her eyes, talked to the other associate on how she couldn't believe what I was saying...as I was talking to her. She made her actions into a false reality by making me sound as though I were crazy. More offended when she talked about me right in front of me. I never raised my voice. I kept calm but I was upset. She was the one who raised her voice and refused to listen. I am not a thief and I never have been one. Honestly, Penny(self checkout, stands about 5'5" w short brown hair and brown eyes, not skinny skinny but thinner build). She needs to be fired if she is going to cause customers to feel like thieves. Never will I go back to that store. They have lost a customer. This was at the Casino Road/evergreen way location

crowded isles make the store hard to navigate and is has different floor plan than other stores so shopping may take more time.
