I've had a horrible experience with BC Stone. From scheduling our measurement, which took a couple of weeks, to trying to get our quartz counter top installed which hasn't happened after almost 2 months, I'm fed up. We were told, both by Lowes who contracts out to BC Stone as well as the company themselves that our counter would be ready for installation 7-10 days after the measurement (template). They did not call to schedule installation within the week, so we called them. We were then given a date 6 weeks away from the measurement date, and told that there was a delay with our pattern. When calling back to ask if there would be other options, they immediately back track and told us that there was no delay and that this was "just how long it takes". I hate being lied to. When the day finally came to install the counter, the crew came in and immediately told us it would not be possible to install the counter as it was, because they would not be able to rotate it without destroying our nice new cabinets - which were hanging when they came out to measure! I'm not sure how anyone who does this for a living can forget the the counter top needs to carried in and then rotated. So my counter was NOT installed, and they had to take it back to cut it. My phone call was never returned, but they did call my husband back. After wasting many hours on the phone, they told us they would have it in that Saturday, as my husband and I could not afford any more time off of work. A couple hours after that, they immediately began saying they would not come out on Saturday (after committing to it) and wanted to do Monday morning. Not an option, because I can't just take a day off of work with no notice. Finally they agreed to Monday evening. And then took that back because they hadn't even re-cut the stone yet! It's clear to me that this company does not care at all about my business, otherwise they wouldn't be leaving us without a counter, sink, and very limited ability to use my kitchen for 2 months. This has been a truly unprofessional and ridiculous company to try to work with. I highly recommend finding another company to work with, and avoiding any involvement from BC Stone.
