Van Tassels is the ONLY place I have encountered an entirely knowledgeable and professional staff. You might be able to find what you're looking for at other stores (Dicks or Gander Mountain), but chances are the person behind the counter has a very limited experience with the weapon, ammunition, and/or accessories... but they probably DON'T have what you're looking for anyway. We spent over an hour at Dicks trying to purchase a rifle-- we had all the ID forms necessary, knew exactly what we wanted, and they miraculously had the item handy. The utter incompetence of the person handling our paperwork brought on a migraine, and I've never had a migraine before. Van Tassles, on the other hand, is extremely efficient. The same paper work took less than 5 minutes for Mary (lovely woman) to complete. They know their business and I dare you to look for something they don't have and can't find or order. If you're looking for a gunsmith who knows what he's doing, you need to go to Van Tassles. They have my business exclusively.
