I have been taking our husky to Bowhaus for over 4 years. It has been such a great place for her. When we first got our dog, she was a stray and had many socialization issues. Within 3 months, she was totally socialized and loved going to "camp". She still beats me out the door to the car on the days she knows she is going to Bowhaus. Without Bowhaus helping us get her socialized, I am not sure we would have been able to help her. Now she is a great dog and we cannot imagine being without her. The folks there really care about the dogs and will go the extra 5 miles, not just one, to make sure the dogs are happy and safe.

Yes, we have 3 shocker collars that we use on occasion, and 4-6 working citronella collars that get used at times. We also squirt vinegar water solution to correct undesirable behaviors and we do "time-outs" in crates. Stating that the dogs do not play is just silly. Check out our webcams. Our client dogs drag their people to our door, and some don't even want to leave when it is time to go home. Controlling the barking provides the dogs a low-anxiety, low-nervousness environment. It also helps the two-leggeds maintain our sanity and operate our business across the street from a densely housed neighborhood. If you're looking for an environment thick with anxiety from nervous, anxious, confused, and undisciplined dogs running amock, skip on over us. If you are interested in having your dog in a safe yet fun environment where-in the people are trained to be "pack leaders" allowing the dogs to focus on being dogs, and good habits and traits are learned and reinforced, check us out!

THE DOGS THAT STAY THERE ARE BEING SHOCKED WITH SHOCK COLLARS AND CITRONELLA COLLARS TO KEEP THEM FROM BARKING. IF YOU VISIT THERE YOU WILL SEE THAT THE DOGS JUST STAND STILL STARING AT EACH OTHER OR OUT THE WINDOW. THEY DO NOT PLAY WITH EACH OTHER BECAUSE IT IS FORBIDDEN. THEY DO NOT BARK. IT IS FORBIDDEN. THE DOGS IN THE PICTURES ON THEIR WEBSITE LOOK SAD AND STRESSED. NO HAPPY, SMILING, MOUTH OPEN IN JOY PICTURES THERE. DON'T LEAVE YOUR DOG TO BE MISTREATED. AVOID BOWHOUS!
