My father referred me to Dr. Friedman. He did a good job. The problem is that no one informed me of the charges that I would incur. First, I was charged a $150 consultation fee, which consisted of "yes, we should have these spots removed". Then he removed them for another $250. Then I as given the hard sell of purchasing skin products for another $200. I actually asked if I could return them because I couldn't afford it and Laura, the office manager said I could not get a refund, only an office credit. This took place in September. 2 Months later I got a bill for money that the insurance co. did not pay. I thought maybe it was pending so I waited. Then I received letter in January that they were sending this to collection for $70. I called the insurance company and they told me that they paid the $150 in full and 80% of the procedure charges. That was the first I'd heard of the $150 consultation fee. The insurance company said I should only owe $40. I called Laura again and she told me that it would have been $40 but they sent out 3 invoices and charged $10 per invoice, and that they are allowed to do that and that I approved with my signature at the office visit. She told me if I didn't pay the $70 in full, it would go to collections. I left them a message saying I would have to make payments. I set up an auto pay for $4 a month. Laura then left me a message, laughing, saying that would not even come close to preventing me from going to collections. This is where we stand today. So if you want to be penny pinched and robbed blind without any remorse, go to Dr. Friedman and his sweet adorable office manager Laura. It might be his wife, but I'm not sure.

I get my skin checked once per year. He was very rushed. He did not perform a thorough inspection. He is a strange person. I was uncomfortable with him. I went a few times because he was close to my office. I had an insurance dispute and he was useless.... actually even rude about it.
