Well yesterday I had the 3 cheese Lasagna with meat sauce. It was fantastic! It's Chef John's Grandmothers recipe. Not sure how I missed it. I eat here 2 to 3 times a week. The lunch specials change daily, but always plenty of choices, and of course you can always use the regular menu. I don't come here for atmosphere, I come here to eat. And it's fantastic. Maristela the owner is always attentive to your needs, and keeps your glasses full. John is the soup Maestro, and always has several to choose from. They do not have a liquor license, but you are free to bring your own with no cork fee. By the time I get to desert, I'm stuffed, but the deserts are great too!
