I have ordered pizza many times and have gotten raw dough in the past and never really complained. Finally I decided to ask in the online order that the dough be cooked through (about halfway to the middle of the pie it starts to get doughy, all the way to the center, the bottom cooked but the inside fully uncooked), but it came uncooked as had become the norm in the last few times ordering. I decided to complain the other night when my two large pizzas ($55 after tip) were the same way, uncooked doughy centers (that's half the pizza!!). The man on the phone, who said he was the owner when we asked for the main office phone number and information, argued with us, saying we should ask for special instructions of how we want our pizza cooked, because apparently "some people like red shoes and some people don't"---i.e. some people must like raw dough! We stated that everyone likes cooked pizza, people don't usually ask for their dough to be uncooked. He said he would take the pizzas back and cook them (but would not replace them with fresh pies). I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like twice cooked pizza toppings, I want it hot and cooked through the first time. Being argued with and told we need to make special requests to get cooked food was frustrating to say the least, and on top of it to be told by him that he's been doing this 25 years and he knows what people like. Apparently he doesn't want to know what people don't like...or try to correct it. We will now use the Edmonds Pagliacci just down the road.
