What? I could not have had a better experience! Ease of ordering. knowledgeable staff. Great price. Ordered on a Monday and received my complete kit by the end of the week. Then I received a followup phone call asking if I was satisfied.... When does that happen any more? I have over a year to register my Transmission to start my warranty. The neg reviews on here are indeed old. This company, product, and its customer service rocks!

Silver Star Transmission has some of the worst customer service I have ever come across. One of their employees literally YELLED at me on the phone! They do rip people off and they dont want to uphold the "warranties" they give out. Silver Star will never recieve our business again! CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY!

PURCHASED OFF EBAY, PROBLEM NUMBER 1, TRANS SHIFTED ERRATCIALLY FROM THE BEGINNING, REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING, WANTED ME TO PURCHASE ANOTHER TRANS AND IF OLD ONE WAS DEFFECTIVE THEY WOULD SEND A REFUND. OLD TRANS ACCORDING TO THEM CHECKED OUT FINE. I GOT A NEW ONE FROM MB AND CAR DRIVES GREAT.



MY OPINION, STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE A MB THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO

Our Warranty policy used to be that if there was a problem with the transmission the customer had to purchase another transmission until we found out that our unit was defective if it was we would return their money for the original unit. We no longer have that warranty policy. All of our units are put on a dyno and tested before we ship the units out. Erratic shifting is usually a problem associated with incorrect adjustments on the car. We found nothing wrong with the original transmission and that the dealership just wanted him to buy one from them. We apologize for you being unsatisfied but our customers are of up most importance to us and this is why we have changed out warranty policy.
