Not afraid of hard work...

In about a three year period my Father in-law has had four different companies come out to do one repair or another (mostly capacitors) on his heat pump. Ever since he bought this particular trailer (as a second residence to be near his daughter) I've been telling him he needed to have someone clean the whole unit because the evaporator or a-coil was visibly nasty. R E Whitley was the first company to suggest that the unit be cleaned. I had to call them out when another company came out looked at everything, told me I had too much freon, then preceded to release about one pound of freon packed up and left. The unit cooled even less after that and when I called the company back they told me I should be lucky to have it 80 degrees inside when it was 90 degrees outside. Long story short, they were full of sh**. R E Whitley came out, cleaned the entire unit inside and out, added back the pound of freon the previous company let out and an additional pound. I found out you can't get a proper pressure reading if the unit is clogged up with crud (which it was) and your unit is having to work harder to make up for it. I would easily recommend R E Whitley to anybody.
