Unfortunately, I strongly suggest NOT using Bailey’s Hardscape. The title, “The Paver Pro”, is completely misleading. My husband and I are a young couple that have purchased a home that needs a lot of work. The patio is one area that needed a lot of attention. We found Chester Bailey on Home Advisor lay summer. Seeming to have positive reviews...my husband called to schedule a consultation. Chester came to our home, sweet talked us with his “great skills” and previous jobs he had. We decided to do business with Chester. Spent approximately $4000, which felt like a great deal for our size patio. However, we quickly found that Chester’s skill level was, quite frankly, poor. Chester installed our patio UNLEVELED in two different areas. One of the unleveled areas was tolerable because it was on a sidewalk. The rain water that would accumulate would just pool rather than go towards our home and eventually it would evaporate. The second area was a downslope DIRECTLY into our sunroom. During the installation process, my husband and I both could clearly see that the way Chester was putting sand down/laying his bricks would create a nice water slide towards the room. We asked him several times to correct this and he stated the materials he had used would absorb water and not create issues. Soon after the project was completed, we had our first heavy rainfall. As suspected, a large area near our sunroom collected water and went straight into the sunroom. My husband called Chester and asked him to correct his mistake and completely redo that side of our patio, to create a downfall away from the house. Chester came and completed patch work by raising the bricks, solely by the door. We stated multiple times that this is not what we wanted and that we expected a proper repair. Chester did not seem to care and never did properly fix our patio. Since the installation of this subpar patio, we have had extreme flooding in our sunroom that has caused damage. We have asked Chester to PLEASE be professional and correct the damage he has caused. He stated that he has had a very rough winter and cannot afford to help us. My husband and I are not seeking any money, all we would like is for Chester to come fix the mess he created and give us the patio that we paid for.
