We've been using Pleasant Green Grass for years, ever since they were the only organic lawn service in the area. Today, there are several other such businesses, but we wouldn't think of switching because we are 100% satisfied with them in every way. Our lawn looks great, we don't have to worry about staying off the lawn after applications, and we truly enjoy every interaction their wonderful staff. Their name says it all: Pleasant - Green - Grass! Scott is super knowledgeable about the principles behind all the products they use, so we have total confidence in him. You truly can't go wrong with these folks.

I started with Pleasant Green about 2 years ago. When I first met Scott and my lawn was a mess, I asked him if he thought it could be in good working order in 18-24 month. He said that he believed it could. With their expertise, he was right!

My lawn looks great. It is plush with fewer and fewer weeds and bare spots every day. Their organic approach is perfect for a healthy lawn and environment. With 2 kids and 2 dogs running around outside all day, we want to ensure that we are keeping them and the planet healthy. In addition, organic processes enable long term success where heavy chemicals require constant re-application, often in higher amounts.

The staff is great, responsive and the prices are affordable. Pleasant Green is the best and I am thrilled that I found them and invested in their services

I hired these guys for helping my fescue lawn. Thus far I have had Fall and Spring services of feeding, overseeding weeding and topdressing. They have been very responsive and prompt, and thus far the results are good. It is not cheap, but if you look at what it would cost to do your yard care yourself organically, it turns out to be reasonable. In this part of the world, cool season grasses suffer in summers, and the proof will be in August. But I am quite pleased (and optimistic) so far.

After years of trying to establish a lawn myself I finally gave up and decided to look for a small, environmentally-conscious firm to take over. I found Pleasant Green Grass and couldn't be happier. I contacted Pleasant Green Grass regarding their lawn service fertilization process last year and received a quote for a warm season grass. Most recently the conducted a soil test and advise of soil deficiencies. The first application of the fertilization and soil enrichment chemicals were applied recently and the next morning I observed that the grass is greener and filling in much faster. Based on the change in my lawn over night, I believe my lawn is going to look healthier than it's ever been with a nice lush green color. The personnel have been prompt in responding to my questions and concerns; at this time I am very pleased with their services.

This company was hired by my neighborhood homeowners association. They left leaves down all winter that killed grass and caused water problems in my yard. I alerted the owner and he agreed to reseed. Only part of the area was reseeded. I have had a problem with them moving things behind my garage (my basketball goal, my trash cans, my neighbors things). I have contacted the owner 4 times but this continues (passive aggressive and a little scary). I complained that my dog lead was run over and destroyed even though it was in an area that should have mulched months ago. I was told tuff luck that they weren't responsible. Apparently this is in the contract that I requested but have never been provided. After two email messages the owner stopped responding. They destroyed my neighbors pipe cover weeks ago (2nd time this year) and haven't replaced it but passively aggressively threw the bucket my neighbors were using to cover the pipe behind my garage door. Hire at your own risk.

I was impressed and pleased at every step this past fall as my requests for evaluation and service were responded to immediately, and the follow up work was done to high standards of thoroughness and attention to detail. There is a field staff and an office staff, and all cared and payed attention to my particular needs, adjusting service and timing according to the weather and my yard's condition at the time and answering my questions promptly. They even sent someone out to show me how to water properly and what equipment I needed. Although it's too soon to see the full results, I know I'm working with a company that cares and wants to get it right, and will go extra steps to make it happen. I'm also really glad to be working with a company that cares about the environment and actually knows how to do organic lawn treatments. My previous experience with another company was a flop, as they are really a grass cutting service and did not follow through with caring for my lawn's long term health and changing needs.

I feel better about letting my child run around on my lawn and not have to worry about chemicals. So far so good!

After years of using a regular lawn care service we decided to try a more environmentally friendly organic lawn care company. I have been impressed by the trouble the staff at Pleasant Green Grass take to educate me as to the best way to improve the condition of my soil and hence grass. I liked that they took soil samples for analysis so that the lawn program could be completely customised to our exact requirements. They manage expectations, communicate regularly and come out when they say they will. Very happy with their service!

This past spring we switched to organic lawn care. Our lawn was a mess of weeds, literally probably 90% weeds. We have been working with Pleasant Green Grass to improve the soil, remove the weeds, and get grass to grow, without herbicides. We have been very pleased with the progress, and also very pleased with the company. They have a clearly outlined lawn care program, they communicate very well about our plan and next steps, they come out when they say they will and answer all questions I have. They have really been great to work with. I highly recommend them!

The organic lawn practices employed by Pleasant Green Grass is what attracted us to this company a few years ago. As aging boomers, this year, we decided to reduce the size of the lawn by extending the beds in an effort to cut back on watering and mowing. Chad created a landscape plan, selecting drought tolerant, native and non-native plants that add color and texture to the beds. His plan included a 3-part option that helped us budget for the project. The landscape and lawn crews are careful to clean up when finished. The Customer Service is prompt and knowledgeable. The electronic payment option couldn't be easier.

The wonderful folks at Pleasant Green Grass are like friends who come over and leave your lawn just a little healthier and greener every time they visit. Their knowledge of organic lawn products is unparalleled in this area as far as I know. I like the fact that they don't just work on the grass, they improve things from the ground up (lawn pun), enriching the soil and adding natural nutrients so your lawn has lasting power that isn't dependent on harmful chemicals. We care a lot about the wildlife that visits our backyard, not to mention our pets and grandchildren. They all can walk over our grass without fear of toxins. It's obvious that I'm crazy about Pleasant Green Grass. What's not to like?
